That error has already been fixed in the current version.

I just started playing v0.1.3, spent time with the Mum in the evening on the Tuesday when I was supposed to go on the 'date' with my new 'girlfriend' and the next afternoon is bugged out. No way to pass the time, not enough money to buy anything, just stuck in the afternoon with nothing to do. Gonna have to go back to an earlier save and do the date when it's apparently not optional, even though it is...

Sorry, but I installed it on my phone, and I have subscribers who also installed the version with DLC, which is a bit larger than this one, and it's working.
The new version of Ren'Py allows the creation of APKs up to 4GB.

Where exactly does your error occur? I just tested the Ko-fi version and am already in the second week of the game without any errors...
