This forum has some really weird ideas about what constitutes "abandoned..." So basically, any game that does not get any updates (and I mean any kind of updates, i.e. patches, new content, or even dev notes on Patreon, etc.) during a...uhh...three month period I think? They get marked as abandoned, basically. Even if the developer in question has said just before the cutoff point that they are working furiously on the game, but need time off due to, say... Moving to a new home or something.

So yeah. Weird. :unsure:

This game is NOT abandoned. There was even a recent update which is not even here yet.

The only way to know for sure if the game is abandoned is the check everywhere but preferably, DM the developer, everywhere you can. Often things do not make it here in a timely manner. Also the developer could have completely stopped working on the game, but still has other game promotions on Patreon or Itch. This will prevent and "abandoned" tag, despite the fact that the actual game is never going to continue.
The three month rule does not work either. I know of at least one developer who has done nothing but a game promotion for four months on Patreon (and Itch). The dev stopped working on the game in May of 025 without a word after that. There was nothing but another game promotion in mid August 2025. Despite all that, the game is not listed as abandoned on F95.
I unfortunately learned all this the hard way.

Hey Guys, what's new in 0.4.5?

Did the developer changed his policy to chare the latest version 10 days after patreon release?

... but perhaps here is a hero who shares 0.4.5 :)

4.3 was first released on 19/07 and went public on 13/08
4.4 first on 10/10 and public on 30/10
so i guess 4.5 could go public in maybe little more than a week..

  • Bunch of new areas there (only first two actually have anything for now)
  • New enemies in the temple
  • New scene with the new enemies
  • New scene with Pao at the inn
  • Other small fixes and improvements

This is the normal version, not the pre-patched one.
Will need to wait for it to go public on Substar.

Hmm, version 4.4 was less than 500 MB on my hard drive, so it can still be compressed, unless the developer has changed anything in that regard.
