Hi all.
After following this thread for a while I decided to have a play.
My antivirus (McAfee) decided that it wanted to eat the exe file when I tried to boot it up.
It just removed it altogether. Fuckers!!!!
I'm not all that computer literate but would appreciate it if anyone can give me a clue on WTF to do please.

Cheers for that but like I said. Not very savvy when it comes to this sort of stuff. Not familiar with the term 'white list'. And re disabling the AV. Should I just turn off the firewall, instal and then turn it back on?

you can try disabling AV completely. maybe right-click McAfee tray icon to be disabled.

others would recommend you uninstall McAfee since it's trash. If you are using Windows 7 or later, Windows Defender/Essentials are pretty good and come included.

I'm using Windows 8 but this is the first time it's happened with McAfee and having been a dick and paid for it, I'm a bit reluctant to trash it. I might try and stumble around mine and see if I can find a way.

I am not familiar with McAfee but there should be a quarantine where the file is placed and you can choose to ignore it from danger tag.... That's common practice to most AV

I can go to quarantine and restore the file but when I try to execute it, it gets quarantined again. No option to ignore that I can see but thanks for your suggestion.

We're talking about .exes from Patreon and f95zone. Enlighten me - how many infected files did you find here?
And whitelisting folder DOESN'T disable your AV. Any decent AV will stop dangerous .exe file EVEN from a whitelisted folder.

in all honesty the game is way to buggy example cant see megan titties then it switches to giving blackmailing katlin with heroin and i cant see katlin in class wearing no panties so im just going to wait until next update whenever that is afterall i waited a couple of months to play this release i can wait longer afterall there are a ton of new games out there ive have been enjoying playing

Really don't know how your version is so buggy. Did you use the console?
I replayed the game hundred times and the only bug I found (and it's not even game-changing) is Kait's blackmailing.

Seems the dev will have to follow suit and "disguise" all incest related stuff or get banned from Patreon. IIRC he tried creating his own website to upload those versions but it got hacked immediately after being set up.

Most AVs are just slightly better than windows defender. I havent had an issue with Norton, but I only have it because work gave it to me. 99 percent of the download links are safe especially mega links. I only say 99 just incase theres that one link thats not an actual false positive.
