You're like the bum on the street who's begging for money, and when someone gives him a sandwich, he bitches that it wasn't a five dollar bill.TLR : This developer makes 5k $ a month and he is just a liar with no remorse.
I like how the developer is saying that this game is his main source of income and all the time he's like "Yes I didn't sleep all night; Yes I will probably not sleep all night to get the game ready" (And people are actually buying it when he says it) . He couldn't get the game updated for a period of at least 5 months; at least 5 months?! (And the game is still not updated) And he makes 5k a month from his patrons! So he is either a big liar either time flies different for him since he can't give proper ETA's (He said it himself " I won't go to sleep until the game is updated") Well the game still hasn't been updated so he went to sleep or he never sleeps?!

Somehow this is starting to resemble aftermath of a pyramid scheme where those who have invested money are in a desperate denial, trying to grasp onto anything in order to believe they haven't lost their money for nothing, while rest are calling them idiots. I've witnessed such an event myself and at times it was really difficult to tell whether those who got scammed actually believed that it was all a mistake and the operation would still go on after a temporary hick-up or if they were just too proud to admit it and tried to convince everyone else that they're not as gullible as the whole thing made them seem like.
Of course in this case there's really been a real product which we've all been able to enjoy, 1.99995 alpha as latest proof, so calling this thing a scam would be way too harsh. But you can't really blame people for not believing there's anything more left. I still believe there's something going on, I've just stopped holding my breath a while ago. In fact, I'm a bit worried about how Deem is doing mentally right now.

He had to go to sleep.
He'll try again when he wakes up and hopefully release the update sometime today or tomorrow
Also he's been up for over 36 hours so he'll probably sleep for like 12 hours.

Every tester was raving about how 1.99995 alpha is amazing and it was shit. No reason to believe 2.0 will be any better.

It was buggy, yes, which is why he didn't want to release it in the first place until those were fixed.
The daughter was changed to a foreign exchange student, for obvious Patreon reasons, with hints of a forthcoming patch.
It was missing certain elements like the pill and blackmail, but everyone knew that before downloading it. (Right? Oh wait, not everyone knew that before downloading it? Then that must have been disappointing. Reading is funnndamental).

The last posted update was 2:30 p.m. yesterday eastern daylight time. At that time Deem said he was going to rush something out and the final Alpha would be out later in the day. Obviously he didn't make either deadline so I suspect that he's given up on getting the rush job out and he's just going to try to get out 2.0 in final form today sometime.
What was disappointing was people calling it the second coming of jesus when it was simply not.
The second coming of Jesus was kind of disappointing. I liked the book better.

It's fair to call it disappointing. There was a lot of hype about the game after such a long delay, which built up expectations. I liked the new Meghan content and the Dottie cameo cracked me up and in a lot of ways I was stoked to find Deem's familiar voice and writing style after being worried the game would have too many changes. So I wasn't disappointed, partly because I knew what to expect and was pleasantly surprised the new limits worked well without detracting from enjoying the game. So while I can understand negative reactions to the hype machine, overhyped and/or disappointing doesn't mean it was a shit release, though.
It's worse than the 1.6 though, at least for me. It's shit imo because 99% of porn games are shit and TP was less so than those so it stood out. Right now it's at the same level as most other porn games.
That cameo was a huge waste of time too, it was way out of place. Virgin hooker, that makes sense. Can't stand that model either.

That is a very honest take lol. "It's shit because all games are shit except a handful of slightly less shitty games like the old version of TP which was slightly less shit back then but now the new version is back to being shit like all other games." I mean... while I don't necessarily agree with your premise, at least your opinion is clear and makes sense
