Yeah that does sound strange. I have no real answer to this. But I have not tried to download from mixdrop or pixeldrain. In my prererences in 2.0 I don´t see any version number at all, unless I am blind...
1.- My impression is Kanon has high libido and Hiro cannot satisfy it. She found a convenient way for her to take care of that.
2.- It seems to be canon that Kanon only ever fucked Hiro and Yukihro, so only ever having had sex with 2 guys make her pure as snow to me and not a slut. But of course anyone can use that word as fits their own perception.
I again think this is down to the high libido of Kanon. I don´t think any heavy corruption has taken place to make her love sex, she is just a very healthy confident and active young woman. We are actually seeing her develop sexually a bit during the different releases.
Sure she likes sex a lot, but she is still fairly inexperienced at sex, but not afraid and timid to try out new things with Yukihiro due to their special arrangement. Which makes Kanon an very fresh breath of air to compared most netorare heroines who for some reason is very timid and passive during sex at the start. Not all who never had sex are timid or insecure about it and Kanon, the selfish spoiled brat she is, is anything but insecure in this matter.
Of course for heavy corruption fans this might not be as exciting and big a contrast from how she starts and finishes, but it is for me.

Oh, mine does as well I see! I was looking at "preferences" before, not "about". But mine also say 1.2, but is the 2.0 version.
But mine still play as 2.0
The thing you need is the Kanon PoV choice on the front page. That for me concludes TDK 2.0 at least with teaser for next chapter.
The way you can tell if it is 2.0 apart from 1.2 is that Kanons PoV continues beyond the changing room scene where 1.2 ended

i think that i need to finish the male character POV first to have that 2nd PoV unlock, bc i downloaded from mega and it was 2.0 but there was no Kannon PoV on the main menu for me

Maybe? I don´t know how renpy works or dev made it. Kanon PoV was already unlocked for me when I downloaded it. Not sure if it was because I still had my saves from former version.
But if this is the case maybe enable "skip unseen text" in preferences and start the game and hold down ctrl until finish to see if Kanon PoV pops up.

I agree betraying someone you love is not easy. I also think most people see someone having sex with someone else than their partner in a non-poly relationship as betrayal. Also in general I don´t see sex and love always have to be connected. You can love someone, also romantically, without feeling sexual attraction and vice versa. Love and attraction comes in many shapes and sizes. But how you see sexual relation or whether sleeping with someone is betrayal comes down to each individual.
