maybe old hardware? gotta min max the profit first then quality later tbh

long animations take a long time to render, so in my opinion they are pursuing content quality, sacrificing resolution and trying to get the product out as quickly as possible.

If you have a rig going back to even 2017, you should not have a problem achieving 1080p in a reasonable time. You gotta have some real ancient shit to have problems lol. Without actually knowing what their computer is, it's hard to say.

I've also noticed some weird artifacting in some of their animations. Kinda looks like dithering in video games? It's hard to describe.

Only 720p as far as I'm aware. I'm on an old, not very powerful laptop but I can play 1080p just fine so it seems weird even to me to release videos in 720p nowadays
