First, watching the fugly Koikatu "artwork"/screenshots.

Same. Looked through the code a bit and found the issue. The dev is using "show" instead of "scene" to display the images, but then never using "hide", so every image that gets shown just gets layered on top of each other. If you want to fix it, you find/replace " show " with " scene " in the script files, or if you have the console enabled you can type "renpy.scene()" into that whenever it starts to get too laggy.

AHHH the math part is so fucking wrong the real formula is b*h/2 not fucking b+h/2 that the dev think it is.
Later on they ask to calculate an area of triangle but you have to use shit formula too.
