I'm pretty sure it's a single dev that's working on the game right now. In my opinion he's made decent progress with remaking the game from flash to unity.

I never supported it. If it comes out and look good, I might consider buying the product. Or my grandchildren might.
Would anyone happen to know where the save file is stored for the Unity based beta versions of the game? I swear that file disappears after every while of not playing the game. Would be nice to keep a local backup save of it so I don't have to grind the game.
As far as I know, it's stored outside of the game folder, meaning multiple copies of the same game can access the same file.
I'm thinking AppData, but the only thing found were player logs in LocalLow\Master nono
Some help would be appreciated

If windows, save is located not in file explorer but in registry editor HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software

Half the games on this site not made by professional game studios (Japanese games) get abandoned; stop getting your hopes up.
Assuming the flash version of the game can't be run anymore, how much content was lost?
I took a look at the unity v0.1 and it only goes to bond level 2 and you stop unlocking new stuff pretty early on. Nothing to do but create new monsters by exploring/bonding and release them again to delay territories from falling. Conquering the whole map is a chore.

You can still run the flash version with any flash emulator thing (Ruffle, Newgrounds Player, etc.) if you have a download of the old flash version. Definitely some lost scenes in the Unity version compared to flash though. A few tentacles completely missing I believe and some missing their old animations/scenes since they are limited to bond level 2. I'm not sure of exact numbers but gut feel says unity has about 60% of content compared to Flash version tbh.
Reading between the lines, I honestly think someone else did all the animations and he can't make new ones so just keeps rehashing the old stuff with all his "gameplay updates". Maybe I'm dead wrong on this but it's been literal years since any new content actually in the game. Don't think I'll ever see this game finished, sadly. What is here is worth playing (Flash version moreso tbh) but I don't expect it to be finished anytime soon or ever.
i remember playing the flash version in the past and i loved it. tryed the new version and... somehow it looks nice but i dont like the changes. long time ago i was hoping to come back to a good finished game but either i am too early for this or it wont ever happen
