Depends on you definition of "linear" but there will continue to be branching options & outcomes. Some with more significant tstory impact then others.
No. And probably not to be honest. Never say never, but it's just not on my radar atm.
Will it be possible to play as Terry at some point? If hes offscreen for story purpose than is it possible to control Romeu or Dr.Milburn. I really want to control a male character and kill all males and breed all females in this game.

There will be sections of the game where you can temporarily play as other characters. There are plans for a section where you can play as Terry for a short while. But there aren't plans for you to be able to play the entire game as a male character. I have plans for a future game (many years from now) where you can play as a male protagonist.

I wanted to know if it would be branching outcomes (as you said) or something that would affect only the ending (or near it). Gl with the development either way, seems that it will take a lot of work

Enable it via the "Toggle Optional Content" Key item in your inventory. It's for Regular Male Zombies on Day 1&2 only.
It's a note in the Key Items section of your inventory after you loot it from Andre on Day 2.

Anyone know when the 0.10 update might be released, I just saw the OP and it said save files wont be compatible. Kinda makes me not want to play the game now if all my progress will mean nothing, also dont like using other peoples saves.
If you would follow the developers blog, you would know that v 0.10 will take longer than previous updates.

I did that on purpose. You obviously don't pay attention. JimJim's blog is linked on Page 1 right above the download links for the game. Right now there is no release date or even a projected release date. This next update will take some significant time for him to work on before it's released.

You fit the same rhetoric all these game threads have someone ask, "When is the next update?" A good deal of people don't read through the game thread and they don't check the front page to see if the developer has a patreon/blog/discord/other social media to follow their game progress. I could of said nothing, but then the people who keep doing it never learn because no one ever tells 'em so.

Well if I want to know the update im gonna keep asking on the latest page, who can be bothered to skim through pages upon pages when all they have to do is ask 1 time, afk for an hour and come back to get an answer? Someone will give a response, law of averages.
