I can't understand what the author is doing? Is he making animation with Tifa? I just found so many short videos with her and if you combine them all you get almost a full-fledged animation, does the author make a short separate video and immediately release it? Or is this part of one big animation that will be released in the future? I don't understand Aaaaaaaaa
He had asked some time ago if it would be better to (finally) make a whole video or to fragment it and share it... and the answer was the long wait for the complete video (the director's cut as someone said hahahaha)

What I don't understand is that you already had some of the scenes, right? (See example in the photo)

While you had to create the rest (animate it on a white background) and then load it into this scene, with the same background. Is that correct?

Judging by the timing, it looks like the video will be 5 to 7 minutes long...maybe?
Speaking technically, everything is animated with a white (or at least blank/transparent) background for the sake of character animation. The environment is consistent throughout all the shots, it's just hidden (bar flat planes being used as stand ins for the relevant geometry) when working on character animation for the sake of clarity. If I render out a white background, it's more so to show the pose/character composition as a proof of concept, rather than the final finished vers.

Not sure what you mean about already having some of the scenes. Everything to be included in this animation is work that has been done post Feb 2024, all bespoke.

I'm always vague about exact final runtimes because I would prefer the flexibility of cutting/extending whatever scene I feel requires it for the sake of continuity and flow. The best I can do is give it some context: I've separated the animation into approx. 16 parts. I think there are only 2 that are under 1 minute long, the rest being thereabouts if not quite significantly moreso. I've tried to quite severely cut down the length of parts that I feel drag, or certain shots/loops that hold for too long, such that each part is densely packed with unique animation, and to mitigate grotesquely long render times.

so they are already scenes within that space (room, for example a living room) but to better give an idea of what you are creating you show them on a white background that you apply and remove...right?

I thought that the space I created in the background was to be inserted on all the other shots, that's why they seemed already completed to me and I wondered why the remaining ones weren't, perhaps because they were still to be developed

The whole animation takes place within that environment. It's one seamless scene from beginning to end. The shots rendered without the environment simply have those elements hidden from render.

Are we talking about 100% new, never before seen animation for this movie, or does this feature include the last few videos you gave us of Tifa a couple of years ago?

None of the older animations, i.e. anything with voice acting, will be included in this. Anything posted publically after Feb 2024 is fair game.
and when approximately will we see the new animation? if you just say in 2025, that will be enough)

He said there are 16 parts, some are loops while others are continuity scenes (the ones that will connect with the others), now... mine is just a guess, but we saw 4 loop scenes (plap, frogsquat, squat, and wrong hole). If we consider everything from January to July, that's 7 months. The video will need to be edited, improved, and cut, and it will still take a long time before we see it finished (in my opinion).
4 loop scenes of 16 parts in 7 months (plus a few shots) I don't know, but it could take another year!

I took the liberty of brightening the faces, but I also uploaded the originals (for those who want to compare). The edit was done using only the LIGHTING filter.
