Main menu won't load because I spelt Valentines correctly in options.rpy. So the fixed file makes it wrong, like all other places it's used.
Context:

I have code in the game to check system date, and change the main menu music / art depending on seasonal events like Halloween, Valentines Day, Easter, Christmas etc etc

Hmm have a bug. At first i was normally able to get to the main manu, but now when i start the game or when i want to go to the main menu, i get an error.

When i start the game and do get this error, when i ignore it, it pusts me right at the beginning of the game. No problem at that, i can just load, but still.

double checked on latest public (v0.6.1) - still work just fine, no one else had problem either
merge "game" folder from the archive with "game" folder of the game -> click Gallery in main menu -> Unlock Gallery -> Confirm -> back out of this input menu -> gallery unlocked

Normal saves are incompatible with the patch, and visa versa.

Finally we get the start of a storyline.
Seems MC now has to climb the corporate ladder and could inherit the whole company.
If Ella is not the director, then he is probably Reggie or the bartender ?
MC receiving that package out of nowhere and being elevated to VIP with that card says that someone high level knows MC and chose him for a reason.
MC could probably get David's loyalty later to fight back a bit.

edit : oh! and showing the time played both in the main menu and in saves is a great idea ! that feature should come standard with every game.

I see two problems with this feature. I usually keep a game I am playing open until I finish the update. But what is shown isn't the play time but the time the game was open. Also if you have different playthrough it cumul. Good idea but poorly executed IMO

the overall time played in the main menu will accumulate yeah. but the time played in saves seems to show the specific time for the specific playthrough.
but yeah, it can't really differentiate if you just leave the game open, that's a you problem though. it's still good info to have even with that.
also, I used to leave the game open too, like you. but if the game crashes, then you can lose everything you progressed to since the last save (for the latest renpy versions) or even since you last opened the game. so I just quit when I leave now. at least, we have to save and go back to the main menu so we're sure everything is saved.
