Love the game but you took a massive wrong turn at the very end with Daphne. She was all setup to be an antagonist that we would torment guilt-free. Someone we would give a taste of her own medicine for things she's done to poor cuties like Morgana.
Instead, you guilt-trip our MC by ret-conning the fact that he's the one to blame for her behavior (''I guess I must have forgotten that'' is also very bad writing) and setup a redemption arc for someone with zero sense of guilt like her? What are you thinking dev?! I wanted the Daphne path but I don't want THIS Daphne path! Our MC wasn't characterized as some savior complex dude that needs to fix all the girls, he was characterized as a hedonist with a sadistic streak. Dev, don't you dare vanilla-fy this game for me! I want the guy who cucked a dude's virgin girlfriend at the bar like it was just another Wednesday night for him. That's what makes this game sing!
I mean, the MC is characterized as the player wants him to be, he can be an abusive power freak and hedonistic, spying on the women's locker room, groping Morgana on the pool, punishing Mrs. Jackson...
The player can also choose to not do any of that and be more of a nice guy, saving Clarissa and romancing her
OR
The player can do everything, you can be a saint to some and a scummy pervert to others in the same playthrough, besides, Daphne had glowing pink/purple eyes like Morgana got temporarily(but in Daphne's case it was all the time before 0.8.0), and seeing as Morgana was more truthful to her desires in that state in the nurse's office, whilst only listening to the MCs command(and if she desired to follow it), it ain't that farfetched to make a connection between Daphne's no filter and following her desires with no restriction saying and doing what she wants to be fulfilled with what Morgana had previously, it isn't really a retcon IMHO, more of a foreshadow(setup and) meets plot twist(payoff) kinda deal
At most you got a point about feeling guilty/responsible being OOC if you're fully a scumbag on your playthrough, but you could also say that choosing to romance Daphne is the route towards taking responsability and blossoming feelings for her along the way, and opting out of shows that you/MC doesn't really care enough about her to try and fix her(without any sense of platonic or eros love, nor responsability towards her)
