I definitely take your point on the durastion of Shayna and Stuart's relationship and all that went on there. That is something i may well revisit and make some alterations to.

I'd like that! I think if Stuart's stalking were more of an acute problem instead of something that went on for years, my issues with how this characterizes her would vanish. If Shanya is supposed to be the cuck queen of the harem, then she needs to be able to assert herself and defend her interests.
As for purity, personally I care little about it. Or rather, I do, but in the opposite way. If a character is said to be a virgin lacking any experience, then I want to see the evolution she goes through as the game progresses. What I don't like to see is a virgin turning into a porn star as soon as her lips are spread. But that's neither here nor there.

There are a LOT of point there, and I won't address each of them individually as some of them are simply incorrect due to reasons you are as yet unaware of, and I'm not in the habit of giving away spoilers. Hope you understand.

The renders in chapters 1 and 2... eyah, still pretty bad (chapter 3 as well to be fair. The aim is to go back and give them a proper work over once i have wrapped up chapter 6 and have it published here..

Great! I think updating those renders will let new players experience the good entertainment this game provides.
I know... I wrote paragraphs of frustrations, but also 12 bullet points of things I really enjoyed. And, realistically, I don't think many people will look at Shanya's inactions and see characterization, just dramatization.

Out of interest, do you still have the scene files for those renders?
I'm playing around with the Iray server and wouldn't mind someone queuing up renders for a week to stress-test it.

I hope I do! Otherwise, there are going to be a few scenes I'm going to have to rebuild from scratch! There has been a new PC and a couple OS refreshes (as well as one crash) over the course, so I am expecting one or two of them may have been lost. (I'm still trying to hunt down copies of the scripts for Ch1 and 2.. I'm sure i still have them, the question is.. where... no doubt squirrelled away in one of my backups.)

When I began AM. i was on a total potato of a PC running a 1050ti GPU. it wasn't until halfway thru Ch4 that i got my 4070, and I was trying to rush myself to get quantity over quality with the renders. (Considering what now takes me 20 minutes to render used to take me 2.5 hours. so a lot of them ended up undercooked, otherwise it'd have been 2 years between chapters..)

I've also learned a HELL of a lot more about lighting and such over the course as well. so yeah.. Ch1 and 2 are going to get a re-work.. I@ve been putting it off for far too long.

Some of the grainy renders can probably be fixed with photoshop . The ones with Tasha likely need to be redone.
Lighting is some of the best I've seen in some cases. Nights are nice and dark, not the typical blue shifting we often see. Outdoor sunny scenes are great as well. It's mostly indoors where there are issues; the sun is often too bright with not enough refraction off other surfaces to light up the room, which then causes very harsh shadows on faces and objects.

Also, depending on how you feel about AI:

A locally run Stable Diffusion model can likely clean all of this up with little effort.

yeah.. I am desperately trying to avoid any use of AI, except for perhaps pictures to fill screens or picture frames etc. (AI music though... leaning heavily into that, that way I own the rights and can't get dinged. lol Plus with all the stuff that doesnt work as BG music. i can make use of as proper music. I've made a couple of real bangers inadvertently and it's a shame to waste them lol).
