I think his worry is more than alot of the focus of the content will be on "bbc" even if it's optional. At least that's what it sounded like to me. As some other games even tho it's optional sometimes they put alot of focus on it

I'd personally say for you to go for the update after. This one doesn't quite get there, but it's getting close, and it ends kind of mid-scene - just as things will either get interesting, or prematurely break off...

Probably about the same? To be fair, I don't think there was as much direct interaction between the boss and FMC in 0.9. I played it immediately after 0.7 though, so I could be overlapping them a bit in my head.
