I feel like the main difference between the previous version of the story and the current one is that the harder NTR aspects have been rather severely toned down.

If that's true, thanks for clarifying this to me.

It's not a fork in the story. It's just the story. The only time Anne's path was darker or lighter was in the first version, in which you could specifically (by choosing to watch a certain genre of porn), choose to live that interracial cuckold lifestyle. Except that, in that version, the paths were an absolute mess and I'm not sure the choice changed much. Hence the first reboot, in which that choice disappeared and Anne still fucked most of the same people she fucked in the first version. Back then, there were many, many posts in which players begged Mircom to let them avoid even the slightest hint of non-white dick. It's nice to know that nothing's changed.


How would it be "forced"? She meets people, she has sex with them. Sometimes because it's what Tony wants, sometimes it's because it's what she wants. That's the way the game has always gone, and it's certainly the way TACOS is going so far. In Punta Cana, she met a whole bunch of black people and so that's (mostly) who she had sex with. Back in Vancouver, she's mostly met white people (so far) and that's who she's been having sex with. Where's the force? Where's the trend? There isn't one, and there never has been. Except if you're a player who's paranoid about it. For some reason.

I didn't really get a sense that her canon character preferred it one way...I DID get a sense that the dev was sensitive towards fetishists of that type; since to my memory no black hookup was ever seen as less than great, but that's a minor nitpick (there was no randall equivalent, plus she couldnt stfu about the waiter even if you turned him down).

Fast forward to the current version - if his description is accurate (i still need to finish update), that's certainly a departure from the original. I would gently agree with that; all her encounters with black guys are tremendous, only about 90% of her encounters with white guys are tremendous. But that's TAC. TACOS has been different. She's still had two (? I might've misremembered one) disappointing encounters with white guys (Randall and the dude who gets invited back for a redo), but she's mostly had terrific sex (and she's hardly shy about praising said sex) with pretty much everyone she fucks, including Tony.
