I mean, it still does? Whenever I go to a McDonalds or someplace with public wifi, instead of hoping that my phone properly connects automatically, I just open up an Incognito tab in Chrome and type 'bbc.com' to quickly force the browser to go to the re-direct page so I can sign-off and use their wifi. I could do the same with MSN.com or AOL.com, but BBC.com is simultaneously classier and funnier.

Let's be real here. This game is almost certainly made by a dude, for a largely dude audience; and that audience is gonna be way more forgiving to a fellow dude being an asshole in the name of getting pussy than they are to said author/audience-insert character being cucked.

Actually, I can't help but wonder if that's one of the big main issues. Maybe the author never really wanted to put NTR stuff into the game? The problem being that once they did it, they found out they didn't much like it themselves, but it also happened to be both popular and also accidently became the most interesting stuff in the story? Anne takes to all of the sharing stuff so easily, there's no real conflict or drama if you're doing a straight and honest swinging route. Things only get interesting by accident whenever Anne starts to be unfaithful, as that's the first real injection of conflict and making anything here actually engaging. Without the infidelity, the game's narrative is just a series of Anne bumping into someone, having sex with them, telling her husband while she jerks him off, they kiss each other and go to bed, repeat ad nauseam.

Again, this all ties back to how the game's largest deficiency is its writing, and that's precisely what has had little to no improvement across now 3 iterations of the same damn story.
Whilst it's quite possible that some of the men who play this game are ignorant enough to view Tony's infidelities through blinkers, and consider that Anne is far worse than him. I don't believe for one minute that the Dev is one of them. And I don't believe he has any issue with the MC being cucked or viewed as a Beta male, because why then would he include those scenes where Anne invites to Tony to kiss her cum covered/filled mouth? There is so much NTR type content in this game, that only someone who was very comfortable with that, could have possibly written it. And if you aren't getting that, perhaps you're also viewing this game through blinkers as well?

It seems to me, you're one of these people who can't imagine any visual novel being interesting to people, if the writing isn't top notch. Most people who play these games couldn't care less about the writing because it's the visual fap content that really interests them, and the quality of writing comes a very poor second to the imagery. The biggest issue with this game is not the writing, it's that the Dev started it with no clear plan about where he wanted to go with it. He didn't know how it was going to end, and therefore it's no surprise that he got lost in the middle of it, and ended up flailing around aimlessly, losing all his initial passion for the project.

It appears he's now finally realised this, and hopefully is now working to a plan, which has a beginning, middle and ending. That was what was missing, and led to all the confusion that mired the first version of this project. Having a clearer vision going forward can only improve the writing, even if it never meets the impeccable standards that you seem to demand.

The impeccable writing standards is not a problem I think the writing is good for a Visual Novel.
The story is clear at this point... the beginning and the middle is already good in the CH14/15 with the remake will be better! and for sure personally i prefer open endings because bad endings are sad like a game-over...
so I believe that, as is usual in TV series, at least one of the endings must remain opened to the possibility for a sequel... it doesn't matter if this sequel will be made or not...
leaving an ending open to the imagination of the audiance is a brilliant idea that allows to be talked about for a long time even after the game closes!

I believe that the story is based on people and events that, even if they differ in locations, names and details, this story happened for real somewhere...
It's really hard to write typical game endings because often the endings are stupid and can make the whole story inconsistent. As long as a story can continue in unexpected ways it remains attractive and maybe actually the story is still live somewhere in the world.

A possible ending we could imagine as a sudden plane crash! or car crush!
This would be a dramatic ending that doesn't need a "moral of the story" and that can happen at any point in the story.. (including after chapter 15)

But I like to think positive for the future of this lovely couple, I prefer at least 1 of the endings that opens up to a possible continuation of the story.

Welp, some of us have standards, and some of us do not.

If they can read Tony and Anne's dialogue were they call each other 'babe' and 'baby' incessantly, and not cringe at how garbage the dialogue is? Good for them. That's doesn't stop it from being awful. Enjoying slop doesn't stop it from being slop.

I am more than capable of imagining how those with low standards can enjoy this. You don't need a doctorate to understand schlock. This shit is not high brow or hard to understand. Even among this genre, NTR fans have rock-bottom standards. It might not be my thing, but I envy the gay furry community, cause their fandom generally produces top notch work; I'm a bit jealous honestly.

I do think it is funny how often those who are happy with slop just dismiss critique of the writing in a genre literally titled visual novel. It's almost like writing is integral to the experience. One has to wonder why the concept of poor writing being a detractor from the experience is such a hard concept to grasp, and why even those who can stomach slop don't want better if they can get it? If the game had better writing, it would be a better experience for everyone.

I mean, unless they're only here for the visuals, in which case, how come they're not just watching PornHub? The writing is what separates these games from normal pornography. If they don't care about writing, I'm sure there's a step-sister stuck in a clothes dryer or a some MILF who ordered a pizza she can't pay for out there for them to just watch (no reading required).

Also, I have zero reason to believe that the dev has realized anything, when their 3rd bite at the apple is nearly identical narrative wise to the last two. If they wanted to clean up the lose threads, just continue on from Chapter 15. That was the damn point, was it not? To have an in continuity stop-gap that allowed the dev to decide which story threads were worth taking forward from that point on? Starting over for the 3rd time with near identical writing and 'new' renders is the act of someone who is taking the easy way out, spending their time playing dress-up with 3D models so they can put something out there and claim they're making progress (while rehashing work they've already done and haven't changed).

This dev can't write characters. They have a hot model with Anne, and an interesting premise. That's it. Does anyone feel alive or have any real personality in this or any of the previous versions? No. We get exposition dumps and wooden dialogue that is so cringe inducing, you'd think it was written by ChatGPT (and if you don't think that is coming on down the line, if not here already, I almost admire your ignorance). There is no reason to be invested or care about these virtual dress-up dolls. It would be nice if the dev learned how to write actual characters, to be able to invest them with personalities, inner lives, real motivation, and some actual fucking drama; but I don't think that's ever gonna happen, and we're all worse off for it.

But no, the real problem here is people with standards...

No, that is a terrible ending to a game, movie, book or TV show. I HATE those kind. It's lazy writing.

I understand where you're coming from and somewhat agree, but recall that there's no backstory with Anne's mom. We implicitly assume she's not stolen boyfriends from Anne in the past. Dad, on the other hand, did. I don't know about anyone else, but if my dad had started banging my college gf's I would have done the freak! I can't imagine how that would have ruined a relationship for evermore. So, in one sense, Mircom really didn't play up the douchebag aspect far enough. Or, maybe he did and that revealed the really low level beta status of the MC. Just depends on how one wants to view it, I suppose.

I've been reading all the comments that have come across and most of them are quite interesting. A lot of different suggestions some of them I agree with and some I don't. It's just my opinion but I think the best one I read was someone who mentioned that they should have cut back on the number of guys Annie messes with and just concentrate on 5 or 6 and develop different stories around them. For instance, one of them (probably Ryan) has real feelings for Annie and wants to make her his. You could have him get jealous when the MC allows her to have sex with other guys and tries to pull Annie away by saying he wouldn't do that to her. She could then wonder if the MC really cares about her because he allows this. You could do the same thing with one of the women the MC works with. She would keep saying that Annie doesn't respect him and that she would never do that to him. A little conflict would add some excitement to the game instead of just the old "introduce new male character, Annie fucks new character, Annie waits for next new character to come along...repeat." Not saying I'm right but I would definitely find the game to be more interesting and different.

While the new remaster feels largely the same some scenes do feel enhanced and sexier. If it catches up to previous content quite fast that's great. If we have to wait for many months just to see slightly different version of the game we already played - not so much. That being said, I always like to be optimistic and also I might not know all the facts as I am just casual observer. Personally, I hope the remaster won't lose cum-kissing scenes which is quite rare thing to find in any game and was quite well done here with potential to be even better, make it a choice of course, but I would like for it to remain in the game. :p

Yeah, the whole Martin relationship is the stuff that only works on Porn-Logic™. Martin isn't suave or persuasive enough to actually bag Anne on his own. He supposedly has a history of doing this, yet the only way for the cucking route to go forward is for Tony to make the dumbest possible decision at every turn, then act surprised when history repeats itself.

It's also the sort of thing that when fans of the game rally around it saying that 'it was inspired by a true story', I'm left thinking that the word inspired there is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Cause Martin's supposed past actions is a level of malicious and personal betrayal that any sane person would have reacted to by disowning their father; that's not the sort of person you invite out to the beach with your wife, and then trust enough to leave them alone together. But again, Porn-Logic™.

It's like the last 2 seasons of Game of Thrones where they were not worried about characters acting against type or being dumb as hell, they just need to get the story from Point A to Point B come hell or high water; and they're going to bash all of these square characters into the round holes of the plot with this massive hammer until we get there (because at this point the creative heads have absolutely checked out of the project).

Freki that is a screenshot from a fan made game called My Life as a Stewardess. It is not canon or from TAC in anyway other than use of the same characters.

still, you say it is the same characters (models) I understand that but the statement made above it makes it seem like a spoiler picture for some (I hadn't seen this updated recently and thought honestly you were posting a pic from the VN that I hadn't gotten to yet)

it would be interesting to know what an example of an ending with no-lazy writing would be for you.
this is the second time you quote me by talking about "lazy writing" and instead I described many different possible endings here... I'm sure as a developer you should know that an interactive story can have multiple endings

what I mean is that only one of the endings should remain open for a future sequel...
but maybe I understand that you wish this story had never been written??

By the way!
Actually your post is the only and the biggest example of lazy writing here!

Slow your roll there simp.

I think they were making the point that show or movie endings that sacrifice a satisfying closure or resolution for explicit sequel bait are lazy and bad; and they're right about that.

Do you want slowing myself? How?
So you are one of those who thinks he knows everything and is always right? It would be interesting to know what your standards are and what stories you prefer! It's really easy to criticize others while remaining behind a shield of hypocrisy that doesn't make us understand what for you is a good game with a well written story!

I'm not one of your business and you don't have the ability to control me and believe me, my standards are unattainable for your slow brain!
