I'd say that's a result of lazy writing more then anything. Pretty much every NTR/cheating/corruption/sharing/swinging/etc game ends up falling victim to this. They may start off pretty reasonable or realistic but they all quickly devolve into the woman becoming a giga slut who bangs anything that can fit into their holes. Even if it's supposed to be a sharing or swinging game, the dev can't be bothered to stick to the premise and it eventually becomes straight NTR whore cuckold.

Yea that's a more intuitive way of doing things. It's especially bad when certain actions or decisions or scenes are forced on the player to advance the story or to set up some drama. Like the game A perfect marriage forces some decisions early on in order to create the drama/tension/setup the possible cheating and it doesn't make sense later if you want to play a diff route. It's a lack of creativity on the dev's part unfortunately and all too common in these types of games. One point to defend the devs though is that players are often inclined to play the loyal path but also want to see the sex scenes so they have that inner conflict and there's no winning either way lol.
