I know you can opt out of some hookups don't know about everyone one. The game however, sometimes acts like you never opted out.

You can only opt out of the 1st hook up at the resort (the 1st bar man/waiter IIRC).
This is part of what drove my "some control over what direction" comment. A bit like later scenes at her parents you can choose one or other, but not neither.

Not sure if it was ever mentioned, so many pages to read through but the movie scene if you choose to go or not is bugged. If you go with the wife to the movie instead of staying at home, later in the game you get the scene as if she'd gone with nicole but tells you she couldn't get ahold of her and had fun but can't tell the mc about it yet. That said, looking forward to chapter 9 and glad i didn't actually come across this before it was several chapters in. Interested to see if she goes back to the strip club, that holds potential. Should have that as a second option for a job as a different route for her to choose between with the flight attendant or both and she does it at multiple clubs during her stop overs between flights.

The fact this dev makes certain paths optional, odds are likely if something like that is included you'd be able to avoid it by making the correct choices. Hopefully if that is the case that the dev gets the triggers correct cause there are a few that need to be fixed that are obvious bugs at the moment.

I'm not going to pay for a game if I have to keep skipping content I don't like. If I wasn't paying for it, then I wouldn't care. But this is one of the few games I patron and don't want to see it become a copy of all the other games. That it's somewhat unique is what makes it good.
