Almost, it is not the remakes itself that is killing the game but WHY the remakes keep happening.
There is a ton of hype around this game during the remakes, but only up to the point where Anne just becomes a total cumdumpster, and when she starts jumping on every dick in reach no matter the circumstance.
And with every remake and remaster we reach that point faster and faster in the story, and Mircom just seems to struggle with how not to keep falling into that same trap.
And when the hype dies down due to that very trap he remakes the game and the circle is complete.

before the remake the paying supporters on patreon were about 300 and were declining... while today with this remake they have become more than 600 and growing

Besides the mental patient, I don't think this game has much of a fan base left anymore. I check in once in a while but still haven't seen anything worth replaying a third of fourth time.

but you should certainly go for an eye examination right away because by dint of jerking off thinking about my wife Anne you are going blind---.
Put on the best glasses you own and look at the graph from 2018 to the present if you can still see anything beyond your twisted nose.......
Be patience... in a couple of months all the updates will be only about total new content...i basically skim through each release to see if theres anything new. its not been great
and all of you will also see a sharp increase in patreon supporters of this great developer!
So take my advice buy the best glasses for your eyesight and a good ointment to use on your penis before fapping to avoid serious injury down there

Any suggestion on where I can download TAC 1 for PC? The one available on the site (Chapter 14 Fully Fixed) are TAC 2 (remake) and I do prefer the original one (called it TAC 1). As far as I could see, the art and graphics on TAC 2 look flat and a bit cartoonish.

but about arts... this first version looks more " flat and more cartoonish" than CH14...
this game started in 2018 so.... rendering quality can be compared with that time games...
Today the rendering phase is more faster than 7 years ago when some compromise had to be made to avoid excessively long delay between updates
I think its also just that a lot of us saw this last remake and went "oh good hes going to finally stop listening to stupid people on patreon and just make the game he always wanted"
Then we watched him "remake" the game and if anything its just as bad or worse.
I just dont understand why he remade it just to make the same mistakes again?

The first half of the original game was the best, I was a paying subscriber back then, back then her modeling was ahead of the others and the story line was entertaining and looking forward to what is going to happen next, the story should have gone a wee bit longer and come to a conclusion, it would have been remembered as an all time great.
That's because he was making a full week at a time rather than just "whatever time frame i want to put together for this 'update' ".

here is my unofficial Android port of TAC The Original Story Season 2 Part5a.
Main App:
download both files, install and run the app, the rest happens automatically.
however, you still can copy the assets pack manually to the folder
since the developer had not implemented a check for the validity of the save files, i had to do one myself, which means that only the "end" save files from my Season 1 port and the save files from my Season 2 port could be used.
at the very first start of the app you get the chance to import valid Season 1 save files. do or do not, there is no try. this is the only opportunity, later you have to do this manually.
from now on my Android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like Windows. if you uninstall the app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore it needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11+), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.
