I truly appreciate what Zara's trying to do here, because I used to try to do it in the old days, in which there was some sort of chance that this game had comprehensible character arcs. Once I admitted that it doesn't and never will, I stopped trying.
That said: between the various massage therapists, waitresses, women he met at the diner, women he met at work, women he met at the beach, women he impregnated, women who gave birth to his wife, and so forth...how many times does the MC confess to Anne? Never. Not once. Nicole, Emma, Mike's wife...those she knows about because she either set it up, watched it, or knew about it via her partners. The rest? Everyone whining that Anne never confesses...listen, you're playing with a blindfold on, because the MC cheats with far more impunity than Anne. He always has. She cheats too, and there's more visualized erotic content if she does, but nowhere near as often as him, unless you attempt a very attenuated playthrough.
Sadly, none of this applies to the hard reset, which is among the most ridiculous things this game has ever attempted. Just make it a willing cuckold/hotwifing game and keep writing new sex scenes for Anne (and the MC) forever, until the inevitable calamity. (I say this because the dev used to "like" every post that pointed out this was where the game was headed.) But please don't insult our intelligence and claim that there's some sort of narrative structure or consistency to their behavior, because there hasn't been one for ages.
