Many people have given up on the game in my opinion, too many remasters kill the game

Almost, it is not the remakes itself that is killing the game but WHY the remakes keep happening.
There is a ton of hype around this game during the remakes, but only up to the point where Anne just becomes a total cumdumpster, and when she starts jumping on every dick in reach no matter the circumstance.
And with every remake and remaster we reach that point faster and faster in the story, and Mircom just seems to struggle with how not to keep falling into that same trap.
And when the hype dies down due to that very trap he remakes the game and the circle is complete.

Besides the mental patient, I don't think this game has much of a fan base left anymore. I check in once in a while but still haven't seen anything worth replaying a third of fourth time.

but about arts... this first version looks more " flat and more cartoonish" than CH14...
this game started in 2018 so.... rendering quality can be compared with that time games...
Today the rendering phase is more faster than 7 years ago when some compromise had to be made to avoid excessively long delay between updates

Then we watched him "remake" the game and if anything its just as bad or worse.

download both files, install and run the app, the rest happens automatically.
however, you still can copy the assets pack manually to the folder /RenPy/org.tacos.s2.the66/game on Android 11 and newer or to the folder /Android/data/org.tacos.s2.the66/files/game.

since the developer had not implemented a check for the validity of the save files, i had to do one myself, which means that only the "end" save files from my Season 1 port and the save files from my Season 2 port could be used.
at the very first start of the app you get the chance to import valid Season 1 save files. do or do not, there is no try. this is the only opportunity, later you have to do this manually.

from now on my Android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like Windows. if you uninstall the app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore it needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11+), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

After that, it jumps to the MC rejecting Christina (in d28_yacht5) without any lead-up, as the conversation leading up to it is only on the path where Anne fucks Troy.

However, if Anne hasn't done anything with Troy or Tom and Harry (so tom_harry and troy2 are both False), the scene then jumps straight from Anne and the MC talking on the boat to them in bed and her telling him about fucking Tom and Harry, which didn't happen.

The d28_yacht9 block is badly coded and doesn't account for both those variables being false, it should probably jump to d28_yacht_end in that case.

Items #1 and #4 have been fixed. Nice!


Items #2 and #5 have not. #2 is no big deal, but #5 means that if the MC pursued Maryanne, the jump from d28_yacht4 to d28_yacht5 doesn't make sense as there's been no preceding conversation with Christina (that only happens at the end of Anne and Troy's sex scene in d28_yacht2).

This section could be moved to the beginning of d28_yacht5 to help the flow:

#3 is still the case, but seems to be by design: The only way Anne doesn't fuck Troy is if the MC sticks with Maryanne. But most significantly #6 has now been (mostly) fixed so this actually works and it is possible to avoid both Troy and Tom and Harry.

However, their dialogue at dinner still doesn't make sense in that case:

If you then choose for the MC to go to bed after getting back from Ashley's room, Anne won't tell him anything about making out with a stranger and bringing him back to their room instead of going to sleep as she'd said.

A fair bit of the scenes in 5a are mutually exclusive: The MC only meets the family from Vancouver and Kassandra if he neglects spending time with Anne, and some of his scenes with Anne depend on encouraging her to show off for Harvey.
This is not something new, just worth being aware of in case future content comes to depend on this.

And you was wrong because "the stupid people on patreon" managed to have the final scene in Barbados, the one in the swingers' club where there was a gangbang in Chapter 14, changed, which was then deleted in the full, fixed version of CH 14, causing a very serious error in the meaning Mircom3D wanted to give to the story as HE intended it.

but Now there is the separation path that was not in CH14.. so you can try the "faithful" path!

Were you ever subbed to Mircom's patreon?
I've been a sub many, many times from the beginning and I can't recall there being anyone making loads of demands re the direction of the story.

I think it's totally disingenuous to blame the paying patrons for any of this, because it's simply not the case, as far as I remember.

Mircom made the game he wanted from day one, in my opinion.

As anyone who's played the previous iterations can see, TACOS is virtually the same as the actual original TAC and all the other re-works.

If he actually wanted to make a story about an adventurous couple, then he should have done.
Literally no-one, paying sub, or otherwise stopped him from doing exactly that.
