The two protagonists say they're open with each other, but they're not, especially the wife. The game is almost 10 years old and obviously isn't going to change now, but ironically it's more a game of systematic infidelity than netorase or sharing.
They both have sex with anything that moves, and as I've said in previous comments, this takes the tension out of the scenes.
Anyway, these are just observations. The game belongs to the developer and he can make it however he wants.

Happy New Year everyone.
I honestly did not think I would get this out on time this month. With Christmas and visiting family I honestly did not think it would happen. Over the last 5 days, I've put in 13 hours per day to get it done. I'm taking a couple of much needed days off
My wife has been off work for the last 2 weeks and I got to spend a total of 4 days with her the entire time. Luckily, we have the weekend to spend together now.Anyways, on to the update. For those of you who chose Elena, Daphne and Anne's fan page, this will be a great update for you. For those of you who did not choose those, this may not be a great update for you.

Looking at the Steam page for season 1, the trailer says January 15th, but the page itself just says Q1. Is it still coming on the 15th?
At this point, the game feels like it belongs more to the paying patrons than to the dev himself. (the - forced/avoidable-but-still-pushed cheating, the lack of real tension or communication, the systematic infidelity disguised as “sharing”).
Instead, we keep getting the same patterns year after year because, well, that’s apparently what sells best to the crowd that funds it. No hate, just observations

Ok so i've finally gotten to playing and finished TAC ch.1-15 and all i gotta say was i can see where it started to get bad. Idk wtf happened (crappy writing maybe?) but by ch.13 or 14 i was pulled out of the immersion of the story and by ch.15 it was just straight up shit. What pissed me off the most was Uncle Robert and Troy's sudden mafia gangster story line. Like bro each chapter lasts for like 1-2 weeks iirc so how tf did they get from divorced recently moved in to the neighborhood uncle and massage therapist/athlete? i think was Troy's other job to gangster boss and his right hand man respectively? Don't even get me started with Walker, Anne's change of personality, her secret keeping, her developing feelings for every new guy and all the cliffhanger relations of the MC. It feels like the last couple chapters were written by a different person who just wanted to go wild with making Anne a slut and cucking the MC.
Bad, sloppy or lazy writing? Take your pick. Anne started taking it way too far when she cheated with Martin and wanted to have her own secret thing with Ryan imo. In the beginning she didn't even want to entertain MC's idea of sharing but now that she got a taste and became addicted she can't help herself and has now made it her own while the MC feels like he has no say anymore. Anne should be seeking the MC's permission and approval everytime an opportunity presents itself to her, she shouldn't be making decisions on her own when it comes to that. The MC wanted to share not give her an unlimited free pass, that was not what was originally agreed upon.
Totally agree with you – spot on about Anne taking full control and the MC losing any real say.
But at this point it's too late. The game is set up this way and it'll stay like that until the end. Anne will cheat again just like before, and the cycle continues.
last update was boring. hardly anything going on. hope next update has a bit more content. want to see Anne in the cuckqueen role that was hinted at but hasn't really gotten any content in s3.
It started out as a great NTS game but along the way the dev just couldn't help himself and turned it into an NTR cucking game instead by the end smh
It is what it is. Since you don’t like it anymore, the best you can do is either bury it (like I did) or play it with mods just to see the cutscenes.
I'm still gonna play TACOS S1 & 2 so i can see and judge for myself how good (or bad) the rework is.
