The last time I tried play a version of this game, it was very incomplete and you'd constantly run into unfinished aspects or things that felt like 'holes' in the script. Was this game abandoned or did the dev ever finish it? (Thought it was listed as abandoned two years ago...)
The game is finished, it's just that the shitty engine it runs on means it runs perfectly fine for some people and from buggy to unplayable for others lmao

These sort of odd writing quirks are sometimes one of my favorite things about translated works. Especially if it arose during the translation process (and even more so if MTL), it feels like observing some obscure natural phenomena.
I remember really liking some odd lines from a game I played (Black souls 2), thinking it was a spontaneous and unintended artifact of the translation. But it ended up being an excerpt from an original-English poem called "Beautiful Soup", which is a "nonsense verse" deliberately written to be nonsensical and weird. Somehow that was a little disappointing to me.

Actually, it was deliberately written that way to give her a unique voice and verbal tic.
I encountered an msvc100.dll missing file error, so I downloaded all the vcredist packages. However, when I launch the game, it loads briefly and then closes right away. Can anyone help me?
