I tried installing 2 versions of c++ 2010 x84 and x64 but it still doesn't work
Make sure you are installing from oldest to newest of both architectures, but the last of each major version.
Bruh, my safe file has Demyra spawn in masturbating and she won't stop, I can't move her, can't open the menu, can't use skills. 2 hours of playtime lost.
This file should be added to the original post because a lot of people have this issue and it is actually working

Go through that doorway that is next to the elevator. Not only will you find the key in there, but also something useful.
As of writing right now i accept skill issue and had hours of defeat, one day i'll be back and beat this game

I have only played the first part but sometimes the game lags, even causing me to be kicked out of the game, typically in the first segment when the game teaches how to crawl into a narrow space, and as soon as I touch the chest inside, I get kicked out of the game immediately, along with similar cases.
Maybe you figured out your issue by now, but if not: Are you playing on very high resolution? I had the same issue, all binaries installed, amd gaming settings to quality, etc. But it still crashed on like 80% of screen transfers.If anyone ever figures out how to get the game to stop crashing when changing between rooms randomly, and all of the binaries and every other fix has been applied already, that would be cool.
A year ago this ran flawlessly (after the myriad of fixes were applied- it didn't work at all out of the box from Steam). It sat on my hard drive unchanged, and recently it does not work. I think a person mentioned a Windows update that broke it all... but it'd be cool if someone knew how to fix whatever that update did to break it all.
I feel like this game was held together with gum and duct tape even when it was working well.
That was, until I switched the game off of my 4k monitor onto a 1080p one. Ever since then I had like 1 crash in an hour of game time.

Unfortunately not. The screen I have only goes up to 1080p. I wish I did figure it out, but no. I had to give up since nothing I did helped.
