I really enjoyed this one. The story isn't anything groundbreaking, but it's entertaining, the interactions between the two leads are fun and cute, and they're both very likeable characters (even if one of them is kinda a genocidal monster). I would genuinely watch an anime of this just to see more of their interactions.
Does anyone have any recommendations for games with similar lighthearted, slowly developing romances between the two leads? Bonus points for tsunderes that slowly open up to their partners.
Some tips:
1. The game is much, much easier than it initially seems. Don't be scared of the deadline, it isn't real. Even if you fail you'll just see a bad ending CG and get yoinked back three days, and you get to keep all your stats, money, progress etc. The game is basically impossible to lose, you won't get penalized for failure. It seems like there are three scenes/CGs that are permanently missable if you DON'T fail at certain points in the story, so it might actually be worth failing the first deadline (with low affection), the dark elf deadline, and the one after that just to guarantee 100% completion.
2. Training is pretty much worthless, sex is basically the be-all end-all for raising stats. Try to go for the sex achievements, those give you hefty bonuses. A good starting strategy is to just spam kisses until you get all the kissing achievements. The achievements for reaching level 2 and 3 for each body part are kinda misleading. They're basically milestones, level 2 requires you to get 10 total orgasms with that body part, level 3 requires 30. Don't worry about the clit, you basically can't do anything with it until later in the story when you can buy a love egg and vibrator from the store.
3. The basic gameplay loop is just having sex to train your stats up, producing troops, then conquering towns. You can unlock pretty much everything very easily by just playing normally and fully exploring every town. The only exceptions are the three bad end CGs/scenes. Just make sure to fail the first deadline (due to low affection), the Everbright deadline, and the one after it.
