An absolutely massive userbase and a possibly massive payday. If they can, all devs should look to port to steam at some point - there's no reason not to.

not for the dev, but definitely for the user, they lose control of their privacy as steam forces you to be online and sells your info for additional money - we live in a society of no more privacy which was protected not so long ago

Don't understand why he need to make them look like 30-years-old if all he had to "remove the high school environment and uniforms" >_<
And at least he could use some efforts and recolour girls eyebrows to make them a real blondes =/

Holy shit that's it for me then. The new versions of Piper, Sara and Lisa look worse then my butthole. And sure as hell I'm not gonna support or even play a game in which the only characters left I find attractive are Iris and Tris.
Interested on what players will think of the new versions. I can't be the only one thinking not a single one of them is even remotely attractive.

I, too, am not pleased. Now they look completely different and have lost all their charm. Could have just aged the same models in Daz.

I was thinking the same. Surely you can tune the assets enough in order to add 5 or 10 years to them without swapping them to...whatever that is. Piper and Lisa look straight up fugly in those renders and Sarah...something is weird with her face structure...or maybe it's the hair...whatever it is it turns me off like a naked 90 year old.
I'll give the new update a try if/when it's available here but 99% sure Imma end up nope'ing out of this one.

Yeah, I'm prolly out, too. The story itself wasn't very interesting, but the sexy time scenes were well done. Piper was just ... the best. And now she lost that innocent, but naughty, look... it's just... meh.

Piper's main appeal (at least for me) was her sluttiness combined with her youthful appearance. This new version kind of destroys that, she looks to be about 25-30 y/o now.

I think the new Sarah looks great though Lisa does have a chubby look to her face and Piper just looks like shes pushing 30 hard.

Oh, nice. Teenagers are fine when you're a teenager, but I haven't been one of those for a long time. I imagine it will be necessary to do some rewrites of their characters to go along with their new looks, but that's fine by me.
Slightly concerned about just how much work this will require before the dev can get back to moving the story forwards though, but there's not a lot to do about that.

Makes no sense to be developing two versions at the same time. He's just gonna remake the whole game and change the models of Lisa, Sarah and Piper to those abominations shown in the previews.
Heartbreaking cuz I was starting to enjoy where this was going. But changing 3 of my favorite characters to THAT is just too much. Why not just change the uniforms and keep the models the same? Absolutely baffling decision.

We can understand, almost every Dev is trying to make a business out of this VN/porn game deal when possible, it's fair though reactions may vary.
Now speaking of the design changes per se and might thoughts on them.
- Sarah is just lovely now imho. Her old design was superjailbaity in a bland sort of way, so her new look seems like a vast improvement overall.
- Lisa, well, not bad per se, in fact she seems to be the one who changed the least, but at the same time something seems to be off now, gone is a previous shyness/eagerness of sorts, i guess. But maybe it's too soon to say, with more work you could get that quality back (or make her work anyway without), who knows.
- Piper...bro, what have you done, she looks like a bad hair Violet from Denos City (yes, i loaded it just to compare) trying to play jailbait (and failing). Have to agree with the pitchfork crowd here, as changes go that is such a total disaster.
Not to mention that Piper's point is being a tease with some sugar baby jailbait vibes, be they fake or not. This new look in the sneak peeks is definitely not working. Make her blonde again or go for some very bright and artificial color instead, please.
Just my two cents of thought and hoping i don't offend you or anyone else with my opinions on the ladies.
Either way i'll be waiting for more sex scenes before i go too wild either away. Good luck with making things work.

they do look a lot better imo.
The schoolgirl stuff is nice but if all the scenes play out the same basic way i don't really care that much
The Sarah model in particular was a stock DAZ asset that is way overused, so especially not sorry to see that one go
Lisa's hair looks better and she's still cute in a bit different way
I liked Piper being a blonde but she still has a nice slutty look to her so no real issues there either.
