I've never understood what's even the point of translating games with below 4.5 score on DLsite. Literally all of them suck. ScaleGarden's old games is pretty much the only exception.

Those games weren't great besides art; but twas a different and harsher time for gooners ; gooners these days have it too easy.

i did tried but i don't have a 復讐者の闇取引.exe in the folder, i have a 復讐者の闇取引_Data end tried putting the trad in it but didn't work
Try to look for .exe file in the same folder you have 復讐者の闇取引_Data. Maybe during extraction name got messed up. If there is .exe with nonsense name, rename it to 復讐者の闇取引.exe

I beat the first run of a Vampire survivors clone, I like to think I'm just that good

But really this game is kind of whack, at least it's got good looking gals

for those who want easy farming, i recommend the hardest map. the good skills seem to be
1. sword swings, the other 2 heroine default abilities is complete trash.
2. i also go for the lightning bolts falling from the sky,
3. the rotation blue crystals around you,
4. the randomly spawning earthen traps (similar category with lightning falling from the sky),
5. the orange pingpong balls that only seem to bean option in 2nd and 3rd map.
6. the chain lightning.

The other skills feel very weak to me, lacking AOE, damage or overall being able to keep your ass alive and kil shit fast enough

what is the point of raising corruption?
You can buy some in the shop but I didn't figure the interest.

I actually disagree with you on a number of other weapons. The short range and random nature of most of the weapons you list make beating the boss enemies a PITA, especially when there's swarms of charging and ranged enemies. The directional attacks of the ninja character and the bow and arrow are really good at focusing damage on the boss and where you want to go (as long as you use the fact that you can aim with your mouse independently of movement).

Personally, I'd go with 2-3 close range clears, 1-2 random area clears, and 1-2 directional attacks.

The close-range clears would be the sword (first heroine), hammer, spear, rotating crystals, chain lighting, and fire aura.

Random area clears are the lighting, rocks, bouncing missile (the orange one) and magic missile (third heroine). The magic missile kind of falls between close range and random.

The ranged are the bow and arrow and kunai (heroine 3). I've never seen the kunai randomly drop, but in general the bow seems better.

You really need to get the increased projectiles item and ideally the XP item, since XP = more levels and the projectile increase seems to affect all the weapons (other than the fire aura). Get the bow and arrow up to level 5-6 with the projectile item creates a nice clear cone ahead of you via having many arrows with the ability to penetrate multiple enemies.

I kinda despise the random clears, and how on earth are you killing anything when you start with the shitty ninja weapon. Maybe it gets better with levels idk but its base damage is absolute god damn garbage.

As for general recommendations, I just cleared Level 3 with 0 meta upgrades going knight, got the rotating crystals, lightning, fire circle, magic missile and the bouncing missile. Lightning seemed pretty good for general softening, to be finished off with sword or fire circle. Magic missile and bouncing missile both seemed pretty good at "random" clearing IMO, and then man, the rotating crystals are GODLY for boss killing. Their damage scales wildly with levels, and if you just rotate counter clockwise around a boss (which you can get away with decently with a little bit of brain use) they get SHREDDED

Like anything, if it works for you great. I just never had good luck getting close enough to take out bosses without taking too much damage, especially when the charging and ranged enemies spawn in.

Yeah, the kunai start of really bad, but do scale fairly well for straight line damage including piercing enemies to handle groups. It is terrible to start with and not getting a AoE clearing weapon early with the ninja is pretty much a run ender.

For anyone looking to cheat a lot of gold, you'll need the Cheat Engine. Launch the game and select it in the Cheat Engine. Then start a run, any kind doesn't matter, but the easiest one is best. Start the battle and get your first gold. Pause the game and start searching for this gold value. Select 'all' in the Value Type. Then everything goes as usual: get some more gold, enter a new value, and click the next scan. This continues until only one value remains. Change the value to the desired amount and finish the battle. Then you need to win the run, and all the gold will be yours.

How can I cheat in more gold/money?
Usually you'd enter the exact values of gold in Cheat Engine, but for this game it's a bit harder. I instead started off with "undefined initial value" and then would only search for value increases or decreases but without a specific amount (so Value Increased instead of Value Increased By X). Do this enough times and you will get a single result by the end of it, then enter random numbers and check by how much the gold value changes. I landed on like 900k and kept it for instance.

Once you reach 50 corruption, your starting weapon evolves into a more powerful version of itself.
You also get a unique ending scene when you beat a stage at 50+ corruption.
I think some events also play out differently if you have 50+ corruption.

Here's a tip to every player. Don't play as the ninja. Once you unlock a scene in the gallery with one character, it's unlocked for all characters.

What I did was wait until the gold you get at the end of the round came up; 119 is a lot less values than 1 or 2. Wait until the end of next round, click "start next scan" with the gold values (BEFORE YOU ACCEPT IT), and scan for the next amount. It only took me two rounds to find the exact value. Give yourself 1,000,000 gold and that should be more than enough to buy everything in the Dark Shop and have zero issue for the rest of the game (if you still want to play, and not just buy all the CGs).

I don't know if this value is the same across different games/users, or even play throughs, but the corruption value that worked for me (actual, not displayed) was 20EA279BD68. Set it to>50 and you should get the corrupted scenes. Note that not all of them have a corruption variant, so it's possible you will still get "normal" variant for some scenes.

As to the remarks on starting weapon, yeah the mage's and ninja's definitely start off weak, but level it up a few times and the mage's is by far the best weapon in the game. It's a machine gun auto-lock weapon that you can just cut through bosses with.
That + random-area of affect + circling diamond things turns her into an AFK machine. The secret is the doll which adds +1 to every projectile weapon in the game, which the mage's starting weapon counts as, plus most of the AoE weapons count as.

Playstyle: Mage > Ninja > Swordsman
Outfits / CG: Ninja > Mage > Swordsman

Honestly neither the game nor the CGs are worth it, to any lurkers.
I appreciate the effort the translator though put in of course.
