Sorry if this has already been asked, but I just have a quick question regarding the incest patch.
I'm playing for the first time, and so I've yet to do the prologue. Am I meant to apply the patch to only the base game/beach episode or the prologue as well?

There's no mention of any relationships with any of the girls during the beach episode. You could name the milfy character as mom I guess and then everyone will call her mom, but so will Linda. The episode should be implemented into the main game eventually like the Christmas episode was, then any relationships and names will fall into line with your main game.
The main game doesn't need any incest patch in my opinion. It straight up asks you what relationship you have with each of the characters that could be related. You can also change it during your game by clicking the heart in the bottom corner.
I can't remember needing a patch for the prologue, but it's been a long time so I'm not sure. I thought that asked you to fill in your relationship as well :/

To be fair he makes a point, since a lot of the prologue story seems to be ignored, or radically changed in the actual game.

The current "prologue" isn't really a prologue. It was the game before SLim decided to start over. The reason it has been viewed as a prologue so far is that SLim wanted to bring us new content rather than immediately remaking content we've seen already.
We've already seen the BJ from the very beginning of the "prologue" make its way into the new build, and at some point, the other good parts will make it to the new build too.

Well, it's been over a year since I last played and reviewed this VN/Game... And a lot has changed in that time... All prior content has been altered to be just Prelude content for the new incarnation of this VN/Game... They are now two separate downloads... This newer version is a follow up to prior content, but is much different both visually and with it's game play mechanics... Visually, it is far superior to it's prelude... The character visuals and scene setups are all done with higher resolution, the user interface is decent, and the animations are both high resolution and fluid... And animations are not just used for sexual themed encounters... Now, I'm not a fan of x-ray visuals in these things, and this VN has an option that appears A LOT, for seeing through a layer of most female characters clothing as you play/read... Some may love it, but I felt it added no real value to the story or gameplay... It has also become a navigation based relationship grinder... Mostly based on event choices... Which brings me to my biggest criticism about this new version... While visually it looks good, you can definitely tell that this VN/Game has become more focused on being a porn fest then being rich with good story telling... Outside of the text, pacing, and continuity issues, I don't feel the same promise exists that I once felt it had, even though the visuals have improved... And although it has been over a year, it's still rather early in it's development, especially with the change in development with the post-prelude content... I went ahead and update my review...
