That the only thing you picked up in my text and not the seven (7) years in the making ?That's not how versioning works.
v1.0 just means completed and they can go to it anytime they want, and version numbers do not indicate amount of content nor does it indicate how far in development a game is.
And the part with the "slow burn" was not sarcasm about the version of the game, but the fact that it's been almost 7 years in the making and we're not even close to an end.
I've seen somes devs make 3 games in the same amount of time, all of them finish.
So yeah, it's a very, very, very slow (burn) game, no matter what version number it is.
