Honestly, it's pretty interesting overall. Some good characters that all feel pretty different, MC is a bit of a dolt but I guess he's suppose to be, definitely nice to have a bit of suspense and subtleties to some of the scenes (like Priya at the poledancing class), definitely some good framework here. I don't think it's fully clicking with me, and I'm not entirely sure why, but it's more than enough to keep me interested in checking out future updates.
I will say though, I had to go back and hop off of Jasmine's route despite initially going for it since, while it may work within the framework of it being a game and a piece of fiction, her behaviour and how she talks about things and acts is ridiculously manipulative and very much like she's grooming him which is pretty wild.
Like I've played thriller-based games and games with characters that were supposed to be unnerving but none of them quite hit the "bruh what the fuck" mark like Jasmine does when you start analyzing what she says and does a bit more.
A+ for nailing that, even though I quite dislike that archetype and I don't think it was an intentional character design. If it was though then I'm thoroughly impressed and kind of concerned at how well the dev was able to nail that.
