But how do I get the trap? Do I have to build it myself from materials? It gives you the option to set a trap, but then says I don't have the materials—without specifying what materials are needed (I have rope, nails, and Lumber in my inventory). Can I buy it somewhere instead? The blacksmith doesn’t sell it—I’ve already checked five times.

You need 2 ropes and a sweetroll to be able to build a trap.

one question.as MC and his Mom are both elves and Helena mentioned she not young anymore.I was wondering what is their life span. within one hundred years or few handred years like the elf in 《The Lord of the ring》

You find honey in the mountainous area in the northeast of the big beyond. Cloth can be bought in the desert city.
That's good to know, because this is not communicated in the game.
Still leaves me with the issue to trap that spirit!
I visit the mushroom guy, and gave him honey, telling me he marks the spots on my map.
But I don'T see any markers, neithr on the map where I navigate, nor the map selectable form the questbook.
Any help? or is this (another) bug in this release?

any hero with gallery save? cuz this game has no business being this slow and laggy. i swear it's almost intentional, is there a mandatory delay between every line of code? i mean amazing art and all but not fun to play.

Ok, good update, I like the new combat, it's pretty fun, I started from the start using the skip option, I really wish that option would offer a better weapon tho! since many of the mom quest requires a lot of gold and exploring the map is painful until you find a better weapon.

Kill a lot of Satyrs. There is one spot south of the northern map exit, and just west of a small forest area about three rows south-east of that exit. There you can just move left-right and it's almost only Satyrs attacking you.
Honey can be bought from the Dwarf cook at the Keeper's estate.
Cloth is sold by the merchant in the desert town when reaching Act2.
Don't quote me on it, but i think you need to reach the northern exit of the first Beyond map, kill the Troll, and complete the portal questline including the witch. Because there's no other way to return from the desert if you don't have the portals available (except walking all the way back for 15 mins).
IIRC the option appears if you already have the workbench quest from Helena, and progressed sufficiently on the Garibaldi-Amelia questchain?

Seems like the Venom Serpents no longer spawn after you crafted one Cleansing Potion via the related quest at the Witch.
I had materials for two of those, made one per quest and one per crafting dialogue. Used both on Helena, and couldn't get any more venom serpents to spawn.
That is with both fixes uploaded here (the three loose files plus the Brewmaster cheat dialogue) and a game started from scratch.
