I think Partedes already made big fanbase. Ppl like how he is able to generate content every month. You do not have to wait 1 year for next update. I believe a lot of ppl supporting him just for this and they did not really care about release on this or another site that much.

I have to disagree with you a bit, because he clearly does want to make a secure profit. I mean, if the game were free, the profit would probably be too small and not worth it. For example, his Discord server used to be a place where people could chat and talk with others who played the game. Every now and then, the developer would release a few teasers for the next episode. But after a while, he realized he could make money from it too — so he closed the server and made it accessible only to those who subscribed to his paid tier. So it makes sense that the new episode would follow the same model.

The game is almost free, you juste have to wait two days after the official release and you can download it on this forum.
