Not sure why we can't be suspicious of The Lady in White when we first meet her? She CLEARLY had an agenda when she turns us and the MC just acts like a naive child when he meets her when its clear that every vampire has ulterior motives and I dont for one second believe she's some kinda saint. Neither can we be more angry at Zoe for keeping the identity of our creator from us, I understand her action but some amount of anger is justified by the MC instead we barely get one line of dialogue and all is well between us

I would also prefer if the game gave an option for the MC to have his OWN agenda to gain power and make it so that no one can pull his strings, manipulating and fighting his way to the top like a true Vampire, the only companion I'd prefer by my side is Zoey. Let the man have some agency, as it stand the MC is just along for the ride doing what others want

Also, some more flavor texts and actual oppurtunities to actually USE the stats and traits would be cool too

You had an alternative, for example, to die if it wasn't for Anna. And I think that the game is likely to be abandoned, the pace of development is too slow, the updates are too small, in my experience this is a "wake-up call". And I would be glad to be wrong.

Heh, are you not actually following the story, at all? Yes she has an agenda, has had for a long time, why do you think she is on the run and Runa is after her ass? She also quite freely offers this information to you, as well as the reason for her interest as to why she couldn't compell you.

I know she has an 'AGENDA', but the she has so far has set herself up like some sort of noble rebel raging against the establishment (which I don't believe for a second). Bree is clearly drinking the kool-aid and is on her side and so far the MC clearly does not think or at least hasn't been shown to consider the fact that she maybe does not have HIS best interests in mind which is what I have an issue with.

I want the option to undermine her, to use HER until I feel like she's useful to me and maybe get Bree one my side. Maybe I dont want to destroy the Not-Ventrue and think her crusade is idiotic when i Have the potential to one day rule it myself? What's the pont of playing a Vampire if you cant take part in the intrigue and backstabbing?

According to who and what? They are a mythical species...there are no laws or rules here. Is it taking a very WoD setting? YEs. Does it have to follow old tropes? No, it doesn't.

We've also met her once...for 10 minutes. You say you suppoosedly are the authority on vampire behaviour (while doing you best to not actually use those words), yet you want to start something/call out with a vampire hundreds of years older than yourself...with her own lackey in the room to boot (one who constantly hides shit from you and lies to you).

Please do tell us how you would imagine that working out for you? Again, we've met Anna (that's her name by the way) once. Give it a chance. Funny how you don't want to trust her but seem to be Zoe's pet simp on a leash (someone again I might add who doesn't really give two fucks about you or cares about you, but is only helping you purely at the bequest of....oh yes...Anna).;)

When did i ever say I'm an expert in vampires? I just used my eyes and some common sense, The vampires in the game clearly have politics and power struggles and enforcers of vampire law also based on the very fact that Anna (been a little while since i played ) is a pariah amongst them and they're preparimg for some big meeting with the elders or leaders. The Author is Clearly heavily insipired by WoD and is also taking their tropes

It also doesn't matter if we met Anna for only 10 minutes, thats not my point my criticism is not about her. My point is that MC is either way to quick to take her word or the writing is poor in that section in that he does'nt think about their interactions and his thoughts on her at his home. It's just, "We met out creator who in her words is some sort of rebel fighter, OK time to sleep! what trivial errand can I complete in the morning?" Not even a single internal debate about what we heard from her about both us and her goals

I am willing to admit this is partially on me as I prefer protagonists with a bit more of a bite and a dark side power hunger to them which is all I hope the author will provide if they continue the series as it makes no sense to make an MC with such power be lackey to either side of the fight

Also, did you NOT play the game? Zoe is perhaps the only one who definitively cares for the MC at least by the end of the demo, sure she starts the relationship as a obligation but its clearly not by the end.


This whole discussion seems weird, never seen so much pushback for asking for MORE options to roleplay as a player

Also Also, not really a 'pet simp' for Zoe, weird way to project your fetishes on me. I simply like the character, as her arc is enjoyable. Though she also has her flaws too as in how quickly she falls for the MC I would have preferred a bit more of a pushback
