the canon ending is the same as non-canon

My thoughts exactly, I can't even pinpoint the real differences between the 2 endings to the point the "multiple endings" tag should probably be removed. Another ending could be an "enemies to lovers" kind of thing between the MC and the bodyguard. I know it's cliche, but damnit I want it.

The difference is that in the Non-canon ending you fail your mission and can't retrieve the documents, so everything you went through was for nothing, while in the Canon ending you succeed in your mission and retrieve the documents, so at least you managed to achieve what the agents before you couldn't.
and yeah, I would have loved that ending.

It sontinues in a very similar style as the old one. Vivian did not change her attitude you could say
