True. game updates usually modify the "CommonEvents" section.No its not really . I checked the link and that is just 1.475 with the 1.45 patch applied , meaning its just "english 1.45".
Please do realize that the english patch was made for 1.45 so applying it to any version above the version the patch was made for will just downgrade said version to 1.45 undoing/removing wathever bug fixes/new content came in latter versions (like the changes dbuck53 mentioned).
Only thing Ryuugames does is reuploading wathever they get their hands on.
They see "english patch" and "latest dev version" and combine both regardless of the end result.They dont bother looking to check what version the english patch was made for.
Unless you see the actual translator of the game (Dazedanon) post in this thread that he updated the patch for the latest version like he did here https://f95zone.to/threads/the-branded-mother-alicia-1-45-nome.250789/post-16670031, i would advice not to try throwing the patch at the wrong version.
Tldr: If you try to play that supposed 1.48(en) version from ryuugames you wont see any of the mentioned bug fixes ingame.
If you do want the patch to be updated then all you gotta do is ping Dazed in this thread and ask him to update his patch to the latest version, Because he wont update his patch to be usable with the latest version of the game unless someone asks him.
Either that or keep playing fake english versions of the game taken off ryuugames.
Depending on what company they ask to translate to english, saying "humans" can be a big stretch.
