Dam another good game going south so a mild mannered decent MC now turns into Twat.
With his suddenly missplaced and over exaggerated anger.
frustration even annoyance understandable but going off the deepend like that so out of character.
And any sympathy for the MC out the fekin window so he sudenly lost his abillity for rational argument.
Yet just docilely excepts the plans of the 3 women in the meeting later.
And then turns once again during sex with chakra woman Dina.
before seemingly deciding that inorder to fuck everyone else.
He has to turn into the Angry twat from before.
How very disapointing.
And a clear lesson in how to fuck up your own game asshole MC's are ten a penny and overrated.

Whoever is the topic owner..... please add a clear delineation between "seasons" in the changelog.

It's as confusing as a "translated-from-Chinese" owner's manual.

The filenames are all over the place with no indication of their "season". And the changelog doesn't have all the releases in it.

For example, I see that version 8.1 is missing, yet that's the version I have.


Is E5B5 the last release of season 1?

And is 8.1 the first episode of Season 2, or is 9.2 the first episode of Season 2?

Here's the first entries, abbreviated to just their versions.

2024-07-07 Season 1 E5B5

Where's 8.1? I have it installed at the moment, but it's not listed in the log.

Thanks for pointing that out. There's no NTR content in The Builder what so ever since some years back now.

As for the seasons:

Season 1 is episode 1 - 5

Season 2 is episode 6 - 10

I update the devlog over at Patreon every time I do a new version of either season. Season 1 is finished, but I still like to improve bits of it and go more in depth on the characters. So every now and then I revisit and publish a new version.

Season 2 has one more episode to go before it's finished.

A total of 6 seasons - 30 episodes - are planned for the story line.

The choices you make add to your three stats (perv, conf, karma), and decide certain options as you progress the season. The stats are not carried over, as this would add a level of complexity that I don't really see is worth the dev time it takes away from creating new images and story. I have a background in linear storytelling, and this is my first VN, so branching and these programming elements are new to me - still learning the ropes.

I'm happy for suggestions for improvement in the game and plot, but it would be nice if you kept it constructive. There's a lot of work going into these games for us dev's, and most of us do it in addition to our daytime jobs in order to make ends meet. The Builder is no different. It's a passion project, and every kind word of encouragement, every bit of support given, moves it forward and keeps it going.

I didn't see any black screens when I played it. And that was last weekend. Kind of short season, IMO. But I don't recall any black screens at all.

I didn't had black screens either but the first episodes of Season 1 have been rewritten a couple of times due to some complaints. Maybe that is why you see some removed scenes.

I notice them in ep 1, in the evening you are going to fuck a girl on the street but suddenly the scenes stops in a strange way.
in ep 2 you are fucking a girl while his boyfriend is out of the room and part of these scenes are simply black.
Another example is ep 3, there are some options to change point of view during a sex scene in the camp but they are simply black.

I don't know the reason, maybe as you said this is due to some recent changes and these scenes are not fixed yet.

It was until the game got neutered/castrated and became vanilla basement stuff for people that burst into flames at the mere mention of certain words. I guess the dev wanted to write with one hand tied behind his back by boxing out many realistic storylines and opted to cater to people that are ok with seeing other people's penises, just as long as it is only one penis so that they can pretend it is their own penis stealing dozens of other peoples women in some fantasy land lol. Dev seems to be doing well though it seems as the game is still chugging along. Good for him.

I'm kinda lost on the intro here and reading the first few pages of posts didn't help. He's simping for this Carla who is with Paul and has been with Paul the entire time but Paul cheats on her a lot...but she's pregnant so she's not leaving him. Apparently per spoilers it's probably the MC's kid...so she's been cheating too?
Then I go in the toilet and overhear Paul trying to fuck Gry, intervene, but it looks like they did fuck since she's cleaning up over the toilet but they didn't actually fuck since Paul was all zipped up when I threw him out of the stall.

so for episode 2: the NTR stuff still happens, it's still canon, AND: The MC is a masochist, with no regard for himself.
bro out here competing against yamcha (DBZ) for the throne of king Cuck. essentially, the build is that there is a "harem" route that full stops just does what the choice routes do, but automatically, since the choice route you could still AVOID the cucking that the "MC" recieves. this guy makes sneako look like a saint. so all n all: this ain't it. it would be a different story if the harem route was an actual BRANCH instead of the same linear story just an automatic NO to parts of said canon story, but that different story would be a good story, a good end, paul don't even have a sister or mom for MC to get with. essentially MC is forever a cuck, screwing an entire village won't change that (penguinz0 vs sneako).
TLDR: cuck fantasy: the "V." novel.

The textures are glitching (black background with little white squares) and it gives me a message that Windows has stopped working and kicks me out of the game. Could it be because my monitor is 2k and the textures are glitching at a higher resolution? There is no traceback file or I can't find it to see where the problem is.

I think the problem is in in the newer build E5B5, the previous build E5B4 works fine. I still have that previous build.

IF you were expecting that the choices in Season 1 had influence in Season 2 AND You didn't enjoyed playing Season 1 at all THEN You played Season 1 for nothing....

Choices don't really matter. You can decline sex all you want but once you go to a new season, the canon is that you fucked everyone that you had an opportunity to. You could be the nicest guy or the biggest perv and at S2 you're a blank slate again. The only time choices really matter is ep 7 because you have to get a minimum of points in order to progress but there's a walkthrough for that part specifically in the OP.

I have played dozens of VNs from the site before, almost always using Adroid ports. For some reason the android port of this game in particular is very unstable for me. It crahses every few minutes after having "slowed down"/lagging for a couple of seconds.

I haven't experienced anything remotely like that with any of the other games i played so i don't think it has to be a problem with my device. Has anyone here had simular issues with the android build?
