Thanks for the advice and thoughts. I was, as I said not prepared for seeing my game published here, and I have never downloaded a game from this site. I am a storyteller, and wanted to explore 3D storytelling and erotics stories.
So I was struck by the existence of very strict rules. The porn game scene strikes me as more conservative than the rather annoyingly political art scene in my country. Very interesting!
As you say, the people who use this occation (the release of half a years work for free) to unload their rage and frustration, don't become paying patreons.
I have clear Analytics data to back that up: Of all the boost of traffic to my Patreon page after the release Wednesday night, none of them came from F95Z.
Again: Thank you for all the encouragement. I must admit I had a very hard day yesterday seeing the massive amount of - I dare say - hatred that came out of the game being published here without my control.
On the positive note, The Builder already has the power to engage. At the end of the day, that's all a creator can ask for.

Do not take it as anything personal, players are simply frustrated that developers are constantly trying to sell us a product that does not match the description (it happens regularly recently). Good luck at work, I hope you will achieve the goal you are looking for.

kwiatos is correct. It is becoming a everyday thing around here so many of us do get pretty harsh quickly. It is one of the thing I took into consideration and make sure what I promise my viewers is exactly what they will get. I was also being sarcastic to the other poster. I do have my own VN published here and a second one is also being written and produced. I am also a avid player of VN's and have played more then I can count with over 2.75tb on my drive not counting all that I have deleted over the years. Your tags and OP though you did not publish yourself stated one thing and those fans of that genre came running for something new only to basically be shocked. I know it wasnt your intention but you see the backlash now.
Also you can request ownership of this thread. Doing so will allow you to link your own updates and also edit the OP and tags as you see fit. You can also submit a ticket for a Developer tag.
I could tell that with your response, and was gonna ignore it so long as it was left alone. But since you took the opportunity to explicitly mention it: my advice was legitimate advice. I made precisely zero comments on the content of the game itself, I took no stances on that front. The same goes for the harem versus NTR dichotomy the site is so fond of. I made no comments or insinuations about the value of the audience, piracy, or anything like that either. I have hundreds of posts on this site, I'm not gonna throw stones on the piracy front without looking at least a bit hypocritical. You read all of that into my comment yourself, as evidenced by your response.
My advice was very much that engaging in the argument, as the developer had in posts subsequent to the one I quoted, will almost inevitably fan the flames of the argument and take time away from things that ChrisNix actually wants to do. In the worst case scenario, engaging this directly with the argument could absolutely kill any motivation to work on the project. It would be a shame to lose a new game developer to that kind of thing.
Honestly, not sure why me telling a developer to make the game he wanted to play warranted the sarcasm.
As I see it, the real issue is about tags (for me at least), not the game itself, which is actually good. I feel really bad that you took all the rough comments personally. You should not, especially if you're not responsible for the post.
F95zone is a huge community, and if you play it well you'll be rewarded (You think none of your supporters came from here but you can't know that). But it can also tear you apart if you don't know how to react.
For the developers and the players, it's an opportunity to view ratings and comments from a lot of people because you don't have to pay to play. The dev gets more visibility, and the players can play before buying and reward the games they like (Satisfied players can be very generous if they support you after playing, that's what I do, play->like->pay).
Only taking into account the comments of your current supporters will get you nowhere, you must expand your audience.
Of course you can (and must) do the game you want, but a tag is a promise to the player, and it's the most important thing to have a very tight control on. Better an average game well tagged than a good game without the correct tags.
When I'm in 'harem mood' (aka 'NOT NTR mood') I search harem tagged games here, and I don't like to see a raw ntr-like scene in it at all...
For me it's a matter of mood but for some players, it is absolute.
If you keep your promises to the player they will help you and accompany you, even if your game is flawed, they can see the potential in it and support/encourage your work.
If you mislead them, they will most likely drag you down, most of the time unconsciously, because they felt betrayed.
Players hate to be mislead that way.
Sometimes because they hate some particular fetish and will not forgive being 'forced to live it'.
Sometimes they will not forgive a waste of time that could have been easily prevented, because 'time is not money', you can get more money, but you will never get more time...
I read a some good advises that were given to you in this thread. Make the most of it.

There are plenty of harem+ntr games out there, you can completely focus on harem and still show some ntr scenes on the side.
Vanilla guys just got triggered again for having to watch anything outside their confort zone.
I know it's obvious but if you are so sensitive just avoid playing games at release date because tags are always missing or wrongfully assigned.

Well now the tag has been added and harem has been removed and I see they are coming in and posting. It's too bad since it was supposed to be the mc only according to the OP but now that the tag has been added. The dev as he said changed things but its not uploaded here but it may already be too late because the thread will now be protected and any anti ntr post will be deleted even though it wasnt meant to be a ntr game. As you can see below he is making changes to remove the ntr vibe from the game.

Nah, once the game updates just post a list of tags, why they should be added (or removed), and report your post. Moderators will sort it out and the thread will move on. I've done the same for multiple other mistagged games on this site.
As for judging the game as it is right now, it's really not something that can be done. That's like judging Dracula (the book) based on the travelogue at the start, or The Wizard of Oz based on the pre-tornado bit. More relevant for gaming, it's like judging skyrim based on the intro from the cart ride to the execution. In short, the author is planning a game that has a short intro leading from a contained setting into something drastically different and more fantastical, and all we have is the lead-up. Imagine heated arguments over how important food or specific travel destinations would be for Dracula, if all you'd ever read was the first chapter or so. That's basically what we have going on in this thread.

It was sarcasm... if most people here did not support devs no one will leak the games and this site will have fewer games than it does, also many of us support games here if we enjoy them... not all of us are freeloaders as you seem to think and the people that don¡t support devs is because they may not be able to do so (at least most of them).
And have in mind that most of us have a different view of how "you" understand certain tags... hell, even this site have a different way of tagging the games.
If you want to make a harem game just use the feedback like most already did tell you, just have the mc being the only male to fuck the Li's, if you involve other male NPCs you are in the wrong direction because that is bound to piss off most of us that like harem.
Also, you will need to get used to criticism if you want to get far and finish your game.
There is many games here... just play those top harems or other games and see what stick to your style then edit the game according to it, you should had done that from the start or at least asked for feedback from people and this may have go differently... in any case just edit the "wrong" parts of the game and be honest about the content there is going to be in the game and it should be fine when you release more content.
Since you seem more fixated on that Paul guy doing the fucking instead of the mc, I don't think this game is for me but good luck anyway.

I don't see a Harem tag, but the game's description implies Harem.
If it is a Harem game, is it a Harem game with or without male competition?
The Harem game's without male competition are always shallow, and the Harem is just handed to you on a silver platter without any effort; the male instinct isn't awakened in that context, so the sex scenes feel empty. They're good, but not as good as they could be.
edit: it turns out the women get fucked by the antagonist and the mc can't do anything to prevent it. so much for competition. mc doesn't even get a chance.
