I think it's a bug. Karen never appears at home. Only on Sundays you find her in her room but there are no options to progress. Even for Adriana in the barbershop I can't find the option to progress anymore.

I think the problem is not in the version, but in the broken source. I encountered a similar problem (see earlier), I think I need to redownload and try to restart from old saves. In any case, I will try, maybe something did not work correctly when unzipping.
