Hey all,
The first dev-note of episode 10 is here.
There isn't really going to be much to say at the moment, as we're fresh off the release of episode 9, but work has been done.
First of all, a few errors have been found in episode 9, nothing major, just some grammar/spelling errors and a single render issue. Nothing game-breaking, so these will be fixed in episode 10, saving everyone from having to download episode 9 and replay it (though the fixes won't require a replay either way).
As for episode 10, Crab currently has 3 scenes complete and is well into scene 4. I've also converted the first 3 scenes into script format (as Crab writes in a Google Doc).
As for art, I have a small part of scene 1 finished (nothing major, nothing to write home about). That being said, I did pause working on episode 10's art for a few days (and likely will for a few more) as I want to get some Halloween 4Ks done. Normally I can get 4Ks done in a few hours, but these ones are a little... extra... Let's just say the $20 patrons are in for some spice...
But that's all I'll say without giving too much away. I also wanted to talk a little about Adverse Effects 2. I'm not spending as much time as I'd like on it; I'm still in the plotting phase and currently have 18 pages of a Google Doc finished. The original game was 38 pages, so still a ways to go. Even though I'm only 18 pages in, it somehow feels much longer than the original o.0 I also got stuck a little, as you know the game is about the MC's "roommate" coming home from university, so the MC and Judith have to keep their relationship to themselves, and I was finding it hard to get an angle on how to make the roommate romancable, but I finally have it locked in, so smooth sailing from here on out. There will still be a long way to go before this is close to release though. I haven't even thought about the art yet, and with it looking to be longer than the original, I might need to bring in an extra set of hands to help with art.
