To be honest, all of these ideas seem pretty 'been there done that'.. Doesn't really say much about the future of THIS game if the dev is seriously considering any of these as viable ideas.. IMO

but it is a exact repeat of what happened here, he learned nothing. Everyone knows he is going to be a cuck dev now, but does he need to piss off his old supporters by desecrating his old characters? Hey all,
I wanted to jump on real quick and give a little update for episode 8 and also do a couple of introductions as well and update as to when we might be expecting the release of episode 8.
The Introductions:
I'd like to introduce you to a couple of people. The first being the lovely lady in the render, Roxy. I ran a poll on Patreon with names suggested there and here, and Roxy was the winner with 39% of the votes. For those interested, there will be a screenshot at the bottom of this post with the full results.
Second, I'd like to introduce you to Kingcrab. If you're in the Discord group, I'm sure you've seen him around, and the name won't be new to you, but he's been a patron for quite a while and has been somewhat of an unofficial proofreader for some time also. But we got to talking over the last couple of weeks about the lack of progress in the game, and after some back and forth, we were able to identify some issues that were causing the delays, the big one being my own laziness... but we won't talk about that Another is simply my lack of motivation to write; this is why I write mini games most of the time, to write something fresh to put me back in the mood for writing the cabin. But after talking for some time, we got onto the discussion of the possibility of him coming on as a writer. At this point, I had about half of the script done, maybe a little less, but he started off with the Roxy introduction scene, and after a couple of days, he came back with a finished story, and although his initial script was good, it needed to be tweaked a bit due to the formal nature he was writing at times. He tweaked it and got it just right. Then he worked on another scene ( 2nd to last ) and that one had far fewer issues. I think 95% of the issues were mostly code issues that I would be doing anyway, like incorrect code names for characters, etc. Then, he worked on the final scene, and let me tell you, it was perfect. Not a single issue, and the story was spot on. I feel like I rambled a little there; long story short, Kingcrab is joining the team as a writer. In theory, this should boost productivity and, in turn, make the release windows shorter. Not to mention, he's already made a start on episode 9 so while I'm chugging away at episode 8, he's going to do episode 9 and so on.
The Expected Release!
I've been working on a rather tricky scene recently, but the art for that is done, and I've made some good progress moving onto the next scene. Every scene from here on out isn't tricky and is pretty straightforward, so I expect nothing but progress in the coming weeks. That being said, you know I don't like giving expected release dates, but I want to try and have it out before the 27th of May. I think it'll be hard, but doable. The only reason I need to have it out by that date is because I'm going on holiday on the 28th and really don't want to worry about not working while I'm away.

Meh. Roxy's alright, I guess, but as much as Cell talks about her, you'd get the impression the vast majority of his fanbase are swooning over her. IMO, she's just mid. There's nothing wrong with that, as I end up really liking a lot of mid characters. But I wouldn't go totally crazy over Roxy at this point. Until her personality in the game proves otherwise, she's just so-so to me.

Given that MILFs (especially incest ones) tend to be a big draw for games like this, I wouldn't hold your breath about how long the wait will be.

Bonjour, and welcome to May!
As I said not too long ago, I'll be leaving at the end of this month for a week to go on holiday, so I really want to get episode 8 out before I go. I've had a word with Cheeky, and I've taken this week off from WTHI to focus on getting Episode 8 finished. Having worked on it a very small amount yesterday and ( so far ) an even smaller amount today, I'm very confident I can get it finished in time. I know that might sound weird, being working a little but being confident we'll get it done, but I've had a bit of a family weekend going on the last couple of days, and even though I've only worked a small amount, I still got a shot tonne done! So over the next week, when I have zero commitments anywhere else, I should be good.
I'm not going to go into some super long ramble like I normally do, so I'll give you some quick notes instead:
I have 3 more scenes to do art for. The one that I'm currently working on is the longest, and I'm about 65% done, and then the last 2 scenes aren't massive or super complex, so it shouldn't take ages to do those. I doubt I'll have ALL the art done this week, but so long as I get this scene I'm currently working on done and the 2nd to last one done, then we'll be good for a release this month.
I haven't started writing for the new mini game yet; my focus is 100% on episode 8 right now, so once the episode is out, I'll start writing for the new mini game then ( possibly in June ), or I might not rush into it. I've had some changes in my finances that have stabilised me a little, so I've no rush to get one out. So long as I get one out by November, I'm good – so plenty of time, but I'll probably finish episode 8 and then just dive right into episode 9. Kingcrab has been a massive help with his writing and is really freeing me up to do more work on the art.
This will more than likely be the final dev note before the release, although I do plan on releasing some spicy previews at some point this week, so keep an eye out for those. That being said, this'll probably be the last time you hear from me before the release is out, so I hope you're all having an amazing month, and I'll see you all soon.

Dev didn't want the scene in that part of the story when he was part of a team. When he took over as solo dev, he decided to remake the whole thing the way he wanted, which included that sex scene being moved to a different part of the story where he thought it fit better.

OMG, that's so funny. Just started playing after finishing updates for two other games and immediately find the same 'boutique' in both those other games
