Then it is somewhat bad planning. With the development time they need (no beef, some devs can work quicker, some not) it is not wise to focus on one type of content so much as to frustrate a whole bunch of players. It would have been just as unwise to do 4 updates for the Alpha path in sequence (even if I had liked that, others would not have). Most people can easily stomach an update (or even two if updates come quicker) that don't cater to their tastes, but this schedule is frustrating for a big chunk of his player base and needlessly so.
So let us be grumpy and salty, frustrations need to be aired and shared with likeminded people, thats good mental hygiene.

Overall the thing is that the developer can't generate enough content to make everyone happy, on one hand we could talk about really tiny updates that develop a bit on one direction each, or bigger ones that try to generate a lot about a character in all directions.
It kind of reminds me of how Coc or Tits would be if it only had one writer. If the game had enough writers then it wouldn't be like this.
I disagree. It's planned out to the best of their abilities. Content and/or mechanics being done in chunks instead of piecemeal lets individual aspects be better focused on and implemented.
Inevitably in a game like this where there are multiple fetishes being catered for, that means there's going to be things people don't like. Since they've been a part of this game for a long time, it's no surprise that it would be worked on.
I'm also not disappointed in this update's existence because I knew it was coming - "Forewarned is forearmed".

Well, if I get dommed and dicked down in CoC I only have myself to blame for playing it in the first place. Last I checked The Company wasn't about 37 different flavors of futa furry demon cock.

I love this game, but my main problem is how your interactions always feel fake, like the npcs repeat the same dialogue constantly and you can even rape your sister or mother at night, then the next morning they act happy and normal like nothing happened

If you do it enough times they will act cold towards you. Like if you already have the mother bringing you coffee in the morning, she'll bring it to you cold.

Othen than those points you'd made, I've always been a little bothered by the "animal" Dakota. I wouldn't mind if it was pet-play instead of her being a straight up bestiality bait. Like add more steps or something. It doesn't need to go straight to dog fuckery. Give us a step where she acts like a pet in the bedroom, without being a flat out animal.

Yeah, the whole bestiality thing was just silly.
While I wouldn't mind pet play, any real porn fetish requires the actress to actually have done those kind of scenes. Otherwise you're stuck with generic pics and gifs that don't show the face or some such, which usually ends up pretty meh.

That's why I was happy to see it here, even if it's just some kind of 100% optional bad end scenario for Dakota.
There are tons of beast clips that show no face to expand that route(with some video editing skills one could even put some face shots from Dakota into the scene) and a version with commissioned art is planned, too. So no problem there.
So yeah I would even go so far as to ask for more "good boy" content, maybe some for female/trap MC too.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying to replace the beast content with pet-play. I'm not bothered by it existing. I'm just bothered that there's no "in between" steps. She just becomes a full-on animal right away, whereas every other corruption elements were/are sort of progressive. All of the MCX (I think that was the one. As for video editing skills, Deepfakes are a thing that exists, and it's raising in popularity. Probably could use that to make some scenes using Dakota's face if they wanted. Besides, Westane is using some 3d gifs for the beast scenes already, so, going for Deepfake would be an option if he can do it.

That's the whole point of the MC-X: It goes over the top and out of hand. Use it (but save your game first) to fuck about and see what happens if the MC doesn't proceed carefully and gradually along the regular paths.
Tbh I'd even forgot that shit was even an option because it was gross and pathetic, but then again, that certainly seems to be a dominating trend in these sort of games these days: gone are the halcyon times of you being the one doing the humiliating and transformations

Kind of funny, I remember those times as the "dark times", games that were all the same with incest and a good for nothing male MC that gets all the girls magically.
Overall I like that games now explore more things compared to just that, for me it would be perfect when we get to the stage of "fight other characters for supremacy, become the alpha you are or be forced to submit". Waiting for that time... hope it arrives soon!.
