Just open the .html with any text editor, find (Ctrl-F) an undesired filename and replace it with your own.

This is a Twine 2 game built with the SugarCube story format.

The simplest way to change how this story works is to run the Twine 2 application in your web-browser of choice and then import the game's HTML file into the application, which will create a Story Project based on that file for you.

This gets around the whole "breaking the game if I get the escaping of the special HTML characters wrong" problem, because those characters aren't escaped within the application, it also makes it a lot easier to read the content and the game logic.

In this particular use-case the Author has created two custom macros name <<img>> and <<gif>>, which they are using to display images and gifs. I would guess that if you replace an <<img>> macro call within a passage with a <<gif>> macro call then it would try to show a GIF instead of the image. (assuming the relevant GIF file actually existed!)
