Sugarcube variable editing. There's a guide on F95. Just google F95 Sugarcube Variable editing and the forum will pop up
I am an idiot child when it comes to anything code-related, and that helped immensely, thank you.
Fucking contraceptive, always running out at the wrong time.

Tasha didn't have ANY Serum Routes. Now she does

Ava didn't have Serum Endings. Now she does

You can't expect your save to work on old coding that just doesn't exist anymore. The new content for Tasha completely changed how she works. That is why Saves were broken.

But on another note, Free Play exists. You can basically catch up to where you were within an hour. That's another reason why it exists
True but with Tasha before you had an option.
Now serum or no serum, if you're nice to Tasha, you end up dating her. I tried not dosing her at all, and then I get talked to in the early morning by Tasha about our date (what date I haven't even talked to her), and I can not dose her after this because I'm "dating" her.
Tried to dose her, to get the morning scenes in her office and in the lab, but those were changed so you can only talk to her in each location.
In one instance we were supposed to be dating (still wasn't sure how that happened), go to head office, yet Tasha ignored me the whole time there and Sophie came to my room for sex at night.
Tried to dose her, she came to the lab in the morning, kissing scene (great right path to use her.......NOPE), next dose is convince her she's in love with you.
So no matter what any interaction with Tasha now leads to dating her, willingly or not.

John Dom route completely nerfed now.
Tried not dosing anyone except Sophie, Dianna, and Kagney following the usual route for Dom path and got to where I couldn't say no to John. 3 chapters later still the same with no progression.
Tried typical playthough, dosing Penny to embracing her sexuality (but not dom), done the getting force dosed by John after multiple times submitting to John, same result.
Tried getting him angry and coming at me, both getting knocked down and submitting and knocking him down, eventually getting to where I could submissively try and dose him, gets same result.
Every path so far out of 13 attempts have led to you blowing John and Penny commenting about it the rest of the game.
So the only real choice here now is just follow the Chanele route.

Also since the last update the Wiki is severly outdated now and cannot be followed

Yes I'm aware of that. Sorry that wasn't really directed at you, I just wanted everyone to know since so many posts are directing people to it for the NPC paths.

Tasha and Ava got fundamentally changed that older saves can no longer read any of their content. You will have to start a new game.

Use cheats in the OP and Chapter Skip to help fast track everything
So I guess my question is the following....using the cheats...and even if you did use chapter skip which to me would make no sense because it would give no direction to the story or your choices...if you wanted to basically pick up where you left off with the choices you made you would have to go back through the entire game. Also even with the money cheat and formula cheat if you were far enough along its not got going to really get you back to where you were. Later upgrades in the labs cost serious cash....i dont see how you can say you can be back where you were in an hour....definitely not from a story perspective because choices affect the story and if you had some lab equipment maxed out already and high levels there's no way.

You've clearly never tried because I've done it time and time again. Cheats and Skips are easily the best way to fast track everything.

If you want to be even quicker, Free Mode and Cheats allows you to view Ava's MCSX endings within 12 days. It's incredibly fast

This is wierd. I didn't experience this with the saves crashing.
All I had to do was load my old save, which loaded fine, and then go to the cheat computer and potion Tasha up again (not the same path as before, but made her current to this one), and problem solved for me.

As far as that cash option, what have I always said? it's a simple matter to add 100 million to the game. You just have to use the "Find" or "Search" option depending on your browser, type in "money" or the amound of money you have specifically, change it to what you want, biach paid.

So 5.3 redid Tasha and Ava I get that but it did it carry the story forward at all or are we still at the same point. This also leads to another question. In Free Play mode if you're not skipping ahead do plot points follow the same time line. I doesn't seem like the exactly do. I did free play and it started me the next day in the lab but then it was kind of like the lauren event had already happened and she had been sent away. In fact I can do the staff change thing with Kagney. It seemed like the Tory already happened and im not even sure whats up with Julia. I haven't seen Ms Dee. Mr. G, etc. It seems like Free Play loosely follows along or is that just me and using Free Play you can still follow along play through the story with all the plot points.

Free Play has no plot and is mostly just to watch what happens when you give people serums. None of the story events happen while playing Free Play (except maybe introductions? I don't play Free Play).

Thats what I though...but HaseoOfDeath makes it sound like everything is the same. This is why I think people missed my point when they said you could go back through in an hour. Yeah you can but understand what that means. I'm not playing the game just to watch porn scenes. I can watch porn on pornhub. I actually care about the story the plotlines, and the decisions I made. So what they should have done was allow a method somehow via story mode for to go back through without all the grind but still get decisions back to where they were.

If you're right that means I will not be able to follow the story any longer....its what people in the military call a "CF". I said I started over in Free play...no Tory...no Loren...no Ms Dee....Julia is still pretty much normal

There's alot you lose...its not just money, upgrades, and forumulas...there's also relationship values corrupption values, etc...theres so much its not even funny. And then if what you're saying is correct about story and plot then to me FreePlay almost becomes a waste of time.

I almost feel like if you care about the story of the game at all you are almost stuck starting over at ground zero. The only thing I could see that you could do to try and alleviate that some is to use Sugarcube to add money just to make lab upgrades less painless

If you're new to sugarcube just hit F12 select the console tab and then use autocomplete.
almost all sugarcube games have the same variable location.
SugarCube.State.active.variables
if you hit enter after that you will see all the variables the game uses. most are easy to understand. in the company you also have arrays like for serums. remember arrays start at 0 so the first position in an array is always 0. in the company this serum is a developer serum that i have never tried. if you wish to add serums you can just type
SugarCube.State.active.variables.serum[1].qty = 100 (replace 1 with 2 3 and 7 for all serums.)

the cheats i will recommend is:

SugarCube.State.active.variables.chem[0].qty = 99999; SugarCube.State.active.variables.chem[1].qty = 99999; SugarCube.State.active.variables.chem[2].qty = 99999; SugarCube.State.active.variables.chem[3].qty = 99999; SugarCube.State.active.variables.chem[4].qty = 99999; SugarCube.State.active.variables.chem[5].qty = 99999; SugarCube.State.active.variables.chem[6].qty = 99999; SugarCube.State.active.variables.chem[7].qty = 99999; SugarCube.State.active.variables.chem[8].qty = 99999

for all chems.

SugarCube.State.active.variables.EventCD = 0

lets you have more than one event per day.

SugarCube.State.variables.time.cTime = 0

sets time to morning. (0 is morning 6 is night)

SugarCube.State.variables.player.dom = 0

sets player dominance. if you are unsure of numbers use += and -= instead of just = to adjust. i.e SugarCube.State.variables.player.dom += 100

";" works as a line change so you dont have to do them one by one. for example:
SugarCube.State.active.variables.EventCD = 0;SugarCube.State.variables.time.cTime = 0

sorry for terrible formatting. hope this helps someone.
