Male/female/trans have pretty much the exact same amount of content availble.
There's no "best" path for any of the characters. It's down to what you want, but you'll need to save when dosing each character so you've got a point to go back if you made a choice you didn't like the outcome of.
new version and all my old saves are broken good thing there's a chapter skip that doesn't help with getting to the new content.

I feel like im doing something wrong then, because there just doesnt seem to be much here given the amount of perceived gameplay with text choices - like you have all these intricute potions, but at the end of the day there's like 1 sex scene consisting of maybe 3-4 images per character, and thats it?
Sounds like you're still relatively early on.
Over time and multiple doses with each character and serum paths, the MC can easily be having sex multiple times a day during the working week, and to a lesser extent the weekends as well. This is based upon the passage of time and dosing everyone that can be, of about 4-5 months in game.

I think Westane updated the online version, you could try that and see if you're getting the same problems.

Dakota was in over 300 videos/movies and several adult games as well. I'm still waiting to see who they cast
in Dakota's place when they get all the people and studios back together to remake all those films so they can erase Dakota.
They'll probably be finished any day now, right?

I guess what I meant is the total volume of sex images/animations is fairly low, using repeats in many scenes with different dialogue etc - i was initially referering to playing on non-story mode.
All the different characters with different sets of pictures/video that correspond to what their serum path is, as well as the unlockable clothing options... You're not going to get unique scenes for all that without bloating the size of the game to a point that it becomes too much for players to spend time downloading and it taking up more space than is necessary. That's taking into account that the size of the game has already been shrunk down substantially compared to what it used to be too.
As for Freeplay... I honestly don't see the point in it.
I suppose thats reasonable if thats the design goal.... I was comparing it offhand to the other "real-porn" games ive played like wife trainer or love and vice, just seemed image lacking versus those. Certainly not gameplay or mechanics lacking, just the displayables.
Well, this is smaller than them with far more variety and replayability.
However, they do also have plenty of repeating images/video, it's just that The Company uses common generic videos for certain sex acts/finshes.

In various spots, particularly the Pit, I'm getting repeated "Failed to Load" messages.
Also, when training vagina on women in the Pit (e.g. Lauren), I get text that they're surgically being given a vagina even though they were female to begin with.

There's been three rounds of bugfixes since the OP was updated, download 5.6.1c from westane's site/patreon and that should fix your issues.
