I checked my computer and found out that I alreayd have this on it from 2019, called version 6.0.4. The latest version now seems to be 5.8, so I'm assuming they totally changed how they wrote versions at some point...?
That version also is 3.6gb, but fully unpacked, the one I found now is only 700mb... is that cause of compression, or did I not get it all?

Yes they changed the versioning system, and then they later changed the image format used to allow for a smaller overall size.
Am I going mad or is there no image pack any more?

If you look at the Changelog in OP (and scroll down) you can see the break in version numbers (v5.2.0 -> v6.2 || v3.2.1 -> v5.8) which happened around start of 2020.

When Westane changed the way versions are done he also found a way to compress media. Over the years the media has been upgraded for better resolution BUT Westane cuts out/mutes the sound. No sound, smaller files.
There's hundreds of media files (almost 200 with the Dream Update) and the download size isn't being bloated up which was the goal.
I've tried just about everything and have yet to have been able to transform Tasha. What am I doing wrong here?
1. never dosed her.
2. maxed affection.
3. invited tasha out and had her meet (and fucked Ava/Dakota)
I have yet to get the dream that transforms Tasha to proc.

Tasha's Date and No Dose Route:
1) Get the gender reveal scene: either the first time you try to dose her (you won't actually dose her then), or visit her in the office early in the morning, you need to go to work early to do that
2) After 14 days explore the office between Morning and Late Morning for an event with female characters. 2a) Tasha will ask you on a date when leaving work after step 2, accept the date
3a) Get the random event where Tasha gives you her phone number and wait 7 days until you get the second date to her apartment and select "Accept her offer and follow her home"
3b) Alternatively, in normal play, on October 21 "Get lunch with Tasha", then "Go to Tasha's apartment" (I'm pretty that one is bugged and doesn't unlock the rest of the events at the moment)
4) "Invite Tasha over for the day" on the weekend, during morning or late morning
5) In normal play, you need to wait for Chapter 4, in freeplay, I don't think there is any time constraint. After 3-7 days, get a dream with Tasha and Saya.
6) Have the "Weird Dreams" conversation with Tasha 7) 2 days later during the second dream with Tasha and Saya, select: "I want this to be who I am. I want this to be my future!"
It genuinely blows my mind that integrating the cheat menu counts as a months worth of work. Wild, but I suppose it's a change from the way they were first implemented, what, 5? 6? fucking years ago

Literally the only character with a cheat to simply skip him and one that I never play without. I suppose that tepid content is still better than shit content that is still way too big a part of the game, because fucking lol, of course THAT is where Westane put the effort in.

Correct. You can only give her a vagina if you do NOT Dose for 14 days.
It's almost like a whole other part of the update was the priority and the Cheat revamp was a bonus. In fact, it took Westane a week to add the new Cheat Menu and that went live about 2 weeks ago in a Dev Build.
But you're either incredibly misinformed or a insighting a response. Most of your questions are answered IN this forum. Hell, Penny is up next in terms of Roadmap but again I don't think you're looking to be informed and more looking to instigate something.

there is a few pics/vids that are missing or broken in the dreams (not sure if they were old or new) i even did a fresh install and they are still broke or missing

Westane put out a bug fix yesterday. Might be what you need so if you're a Patron, check the page. If not, Public will have it included and that releases next Thursday.
Or someone shares the files. Either or

Ah yes, revamping the dream system, which is mostly skipped through and is the definition of bloat: that's definitely a better look.
On one hand, a game this old is usually abandoned, on the other hand, games not even half this age usually has double the content so it all evens out I suppose.
I vaguely remembered there being a roadmap that struck me as feasible for a single dev, if sad, but again, this game is just, bizarre, in so many ways, with its badly working "endings", bizarre one offs (our good friend the living dildo being just, bizarre, as the only way for a player to get both systems but also exclusive for the mom) and a whole host of other odd stuff.
I have two things to say about this:
1. Unless you're the switchiest switch who ever did switch, you likely haven't SEEN half of this game's content. A lot of expansive serum paths only appeal to a particular set of interests.
2. I've been watching this game for years, since before you could even dose Sophie and you could outright rape your family. Virtually every update has been solid, even if it didn't appeal to me. This game has suffered some real setbacks in the form of multiple system revamps. The corpses of some of these old systems still dot the game here and there. But that's just kinda the price you pay when you try something experimental.
