Looks like 5.3 just released to patreon, which means probably a hotfix in a few days, and hopefully an update here. Looks like it's moving MCSX unlock to the end of chapter 2, plus some new mechanics for gender.

"The 5.3 update for The Company releases this week for patrons! Below you'll find detailed patch notes for this update. Patrons should expect to see the update go live no later that the morning of the 30th, with a public release going live 1-2 weeks later. The patron exclusivity of this update will last just a little bit longer due to the breadth of changes I'm tracking in this patch."
Also this is the first half of version 5.3 that mainly changes mechanics with no real story added.

From what I have seen in the image pack nothing new has changed, so I'm guessing this a bug fix.

Why couldn't the dev just have left Tasha as a female dom and added a new character if they wanted to add a trans character?
I personally think it's kind of dumb to make a non-trans pornstar (in this case Tasha Reign) into a trans character. There are trans pornstars out there they could have used, I'm sure.

I'd go through the comments (tfgamesite also) and read the discussion. As some simplification was done, but the content you want could very well still be there depending on the definitions of the terms.
Folks ideas of what the terms meant weren't consistant (reminds me of the futa has balls? discussion). Even officially there's contention. Even if I was the writer I couldn't answer your question as there's a number of ways I would have to guess your definition of 'dick chick' could mean.

No, the gender system has been streamlined. Instead of having both a trans and a shemale genders, now there is only trans, with separate tracking for breast and penis size.
The only thing i can say about this matter is that what baffles me is not making it into a choice at the beginning of the game. The old Tasha gifs and pics should remain in the game since it was stated that there will be an option to turn her into a full female. Which means means that the content for old Tasha should largely be intact. Also this way everyone is free to choose their own favorite and isn't forced into a certain fetish.
It appears my saves from 5.2.52 are incompatible with the 5.3 update, is there any way to fix this? I don't especially want to restart.
