Well, I have bad news for you, sit tight as the updates for this game take about 8 months and only really offer 30 minutes of content. Just the way the dev is sadly. How on earth did I only notice this game now for the first time??? Just love it. Great story telling, nice looking girls and woman en just want to keep playing. Eagerly waiting for next update. Thanks!!
I too was late to the party on this one. It was a welcome surprise. I will welcome the next update too, but it can cook as long as it needs too... Im not exactly starved for games at the moment. How on earth did I only notice this game now for the first time??? Just love it. No, not at all....it's like 6 months between updates and like 3 months between previews. The dev isn't very active and just updates it out of the blue honestly.I hadn't played this in a while and was glad to see it was updated. does anyone know if the dev has a schedule for updates?
He gives updates now and then on his Discord (and he usually answer question fairly quick)No, not at all....it's like 6 months between updates and like 3 months between previews. The dev isn't very active and just updates it out of the blue honestly.
That is how version numbers work though, X.Y.Z isn't a decimal number, they're three different versions, X is the "major" version, so before release will be 0, after release will be 1, a full rewrite/re-release will be 2 etc. Y is the "minor" version, which is just how many releases you've made typically, and Z is the update number, typically used to denote patches/bugfixes.I would imagine that is would actually be 0.10, and yes I know that isn't how math works, but that is how devs like to number updates
There is no standard. You could assign them names like Bob and Steve (or Longhorn and Chicago)...Note that this is just a customary system, it's not enforced by anything, but as far as I know it is the standard.
It might be "the standard" for some folks, but there are absolutely a ton of examples in software where this isn't followed. So IDK that I'd consider it "standard" if a large number of folks refuse to follow it.Note that this is just a customary system, it's not enforced by anything, but as far as I know it is the standard.
Yes, exactly. There are additions some devs use like SE and XE for stuff like "Standard Edition" and "eXtra Edition", which has bupkes to do with the numbers themselves. You have, ofc, the "Episode" format, which can be "Episode 1", "Day 1", "Episode 1 Part 2", "Chapter 1.5", etc. There are also versions with more periods than a polymenorrhetic, which becomes extremely unnecessary. I've seen versions named after specific characters, indicating whose story was the focus for that release. And so on.There is no standard. You could assign them names like Bob and Steve (or Longhorn and Chicago)...
That's fair. Generally, using the term standard when applied to something such as this is likely assumed to mean a thing set up by authorities as the rule for measures, whether of quantity, weight, extent, value, or quality. In this specific case, it would be used to mean "a rule of extent" (i.e., how far along something is) and backed up by authoritative support of some kind. Anyway, that was the assumption for some of us. But as you say, it's not enforced or anything. What you described is definitely the typical way versioning after that pattern is used, and I'm glad there are others who realize 0.9 doesn't have to be followed by 1.0.I mean, I meant standard as in "most commonly used"... I did say "It's not enforced by anything".
Well, you failed miserably with that then......and this not meant to be negative
Can't wait until we get to have some fun with Liz! And our Mom's of course
