Was there much difference from the July 2023 preview of v9 to the Feb 2024 preview? I'd hope after 7 months there would be some progress. Sadly this game used to get frequent updates. At the current progression, things are not looking good...

Have they begged for this user forgiveness? Have they offered a way to make reparations, like giving them the next 10 updates upfront before they are even made?

All this fellow user wants is their right to be filled with content, when they want it, because they need to fill an hole in their soul and no one cares for that, now, do they?

It's selection bias.
Devs are forced to share more about their lives than most people, so they appear to have more things go wrong than most people because you hear about it. Add to that that there aren't huge amounts of devs to start with, and any patterns you think you see look a lot more exaggerated than they really are.
