still happens with this version, and when i load the saves from ch.5 i get 2 error messages one that hobbo path is not defined (i were going to em) and dave relationship not defined.

i'm getting a ton of errors, and the game doesn't seem to know what save to import for CH8, in one load its one outcome and in another it loads an older one where i chose the girl in the back of the car. do i need to delete all my saves except the one i want it to find? how does it decide what to load into the ch8 game?
I've discovered another issue that some variables are missing in the saves from Arc I, I fixed it, and now if you open your save (that you want to import) in Arc I version and save it again, it should all work correctly now. I'm not gonna share the link to the Arc I version, but it is available on my patreon for 1 USD, so sooner or later someone is going to share it here anyway.

yeah i dunno what's up, maybe i just gotta start over altho when i loaded into Ch8 game from Ch5 it would load a random previous game, like in one i fucked carlos and in another i messed with the girl in the car

I'm sure you lot already know my update estimations are usually either off or way off. This time I shot for December, but clearly that was wishful thinking - especially with the December holidays taken into account. I'd honestly rather just announce the update right before release, but that wouldn't be fair to you, since the timeline (or lack of it) might affect your subscription decisions. So, long story short: with reasonable confidence, you can expect Chapter 9 (1/2) sometime in January.
Really nice game, I became a "Patreon". The first chapters felt a little(!) off, but you really hit a good balacne between slow-burn sex and story.
Otherwise, add following last two lines in the chapter_6.rpy (line 5++):
label ARC2_SAVE_IMPORT:
$ arc2_fresh_start = False
$ ch4_leon_bj = True
$ ch1_library = False
Chance True or False (of this two last lines) to your liking and reload the save-game you want to continue with.
Yes, thats the reason. Try to start a new game and alle the errors are gone.
