Sounds like one of two things, either A or left arrow are 'stuck', try pressing them when entering mine. Or it could be a controller, try disconnecting it if you have one.

You won't begin to gain fame until you have restored the rooms, and can send some of your workers to "help the guests get to sleep."
Good update. Tho I think I have lost the ability to retrain perks when I paid Mira for tutoring. When I click the "questions" dialogue, it only shows WIP. Also, attunement is still bugged and won't show an increase.
That being said, the endgame adventuring content is still a bit too grindy. Granted, that will probably improve when all the girls get monsterfucking sprites so you can make a concerted effort to gain the essences and won't be essentially locked out when the first girl fails. There is also the problem that as of now, only one stat gained from running the tavern is relevant for adventuring, that being serving. Pleasure, attunement and refinement can only be increased through exp. gain which is locked behind studying, which is still spriteless with the exception of Alma. (You can also gain significant amount of experience through serving customers but two customers drain a girl's HP to almost nothing). The player is forced to sink a lot of exp into perks, then into stats that allow the girls to service customers for fame and then another considerable sum into skills that boost adventuring chance.

Really enjoyed this game so far! Great work dev! I have a couple of questions -
1) I got into the woodcutter's hut, but Freya is asking me to get some serious leverage if I want her to work for me. I have no idea what it is.
2) I found a suspicious ledger, but it doesn't do anything even if I take it to the tax office girl.
3) I have only 3 girls so far - Alma, Issa, and Mazzy. I am trying to get the inn girl, but bringing a diamond back alive from the mine sucks. I keep dying (even if I use the frog legs potion). I have no idea how to figure it out.
4) Are there any other girls I can recruit apart from the woodcutter's wife and the inn girl? (I got all the eye amulet scenes so far - twin elves, mermaid, and dryad. I also used it to charm Mazzy).

get a shovel, go to the cemetary and dig the dirt heaps up, you'll find a tablet... tadaaa!
also for all others: you can get hints as to what to do to get the girls at the fortune tellers tent.
And don't make the mistake I did, of going back and expecting to be able to just show her the tablet. You have to ask her to work for you again, THEN a new option shows up.

2) The psychic will give you a hint on the office girl - you need to find her in the hills on a monday, and find out some interesting stuff about her.
3) You can buy a diamond outright from the dwarf in the mines - ask to sell gems and click the buy option. 4000 toads, though. I believe this option was added because EVERYONE got fed up of trying to dig one up.
4) There are six that I know off that you can hire. The twins, mermaid and dryad you cannot, unless I've missed something.
Alma, Issa, Mazzy, the woodcutter's wife, the girl who wants a diamond, and the whore/beggar in the street near the equipment shop. (Hire her services a few times, then you'll get the option to hire her permanently.)

i understand there's a "ticking clock," what with the MC having magic AIDS, but i don't care at all. my enjoyment comes from seeing new images as a reward for managing the inn well, making money, and gradually filling out the tech trees (perks, inn improvements, meeting the requirement for guests). the tech tree only matters insofar as it gives you more images.
it would be a far better use of time to just keep adding more images. if you've seen all the pics, you're done with the game, regardless of the story. time spent developing minigames was time not spent adding more images. most common request for the mining minigame was, "a way to skip the mining minigame" and get to the new girl (and new images). take a hint
Had elf girl (franceska i think) at full depravity, sent her to a guest, she's missing from the inn now? intended or bug?

Yes, in the end all sprites will end up in the gallery. More girls, I'd love to but I need to fill in the sprites for existing ones first.
